They could say YOU were the one that was rude. Usually when people are rude to me for no reason, I just look at them with a big old smile and say, "I'm sorry you're having such a bad day.. I certainly hope it get's better!" Then just smile. You will get your point across and kill them with kindness while you're at it. Works nearly every time! :)

Hugs
Jackie
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4731482325561634009.post-56030972275281025182006-11-25T16:58:00.000-08:002006-11-25T16:58:00.000-08:00I would run it by casually to your boss first. A boss that you get along well with is less likely to fire you or write you up for talking back to a customer. I DO NOT believe that the customer is always right, because they aren't always right, but the best way to deal with it is to kill them with kindness, just like Jackie said. That would bug the crap out of a customer more than if you were to get out of line with them. Your job description does not say that you have to put up with abuse from anyone, but just be careful.

Hugs, Mandy ~Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4731482325561634009.post-24869056658704544732006-11-28T15:15:00.000-08:002006-11-28T15:15:00.000-08:00I like saying wow who pissed in your post toasties...I like saying wow who pissed in your post toasties...lol
donna In TEXASAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
