Hi friends, I know it has been a long long time since I last blogged. Sorry for that. I do'nt even know if I have any readers left at this point. But anyways the holidays are coming soon and I am just not into them this year. My Uncle Mark commited suicide last year at this time and the last time I spoke to him was Thanksgiving last year so it makes this one especially hard for me.

Also my lack of money this year makes me wonder if I will even be able to afford to send Christmas cards this year , let alone a couple of gifts. Just such a stressful time of the year for me. I grew up in a abusive home and my family was never a very close one so Christmas just makes me really sad for the most part thinking of all the families getting together that are having fun and enjoying each other's company. I wish I could go to sleep in November and wake up January 1'st. Sorry for sounding like a grinch, hope my feelings change but for now they are what they are, love you all Lisa xoxo

Hi friends, thought it would be only fair I give you all an update, I filed for unemployment a couple of months ago and it was denied the week of Thanksgiving, I was crushed knowing my boss lied to the unemployment office to deny me so I filed an appeal and mailed the letter off yesterday, will let you all know what happens, have not really been much in the Christmas spirit this season, sometimes the holidays bring back sad memories for me about how my father and I were never that close and stuff like that, but I wish all of my friends a beautiful holiday season and a Happy and healthy " 2011" Boy will I be glad to see this year end, I love you all and thanks for being there for me XOXOXO Lisa

Hi friends, sorry it has been a long time, I have been stressing big time this week, I bet some of you that are my FB friends noticed , I ca'nt mention any of this on FB, but some shit went down at my work last week so there is a chance that I could be terminated, The HR Manager was supposed to call me yesterday and let me know what her final decision was but I never heard back from her, I may find out today if I go by work, has not been a good week for me, I was suspended from work this week and my boss told me in a cold voice on Tuesday if I had a locker it would be a good idea to clean it out, he is seriously the coldest meanest person besides my dad I have ever known, so will let you all know what happens, please pray for me , Thank you all, Love You All Lots Lisa XOXOXO

Hi friends, that rainbow picture below I took myself a few months back, am proud of it, anyhow hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, I had a little bit of a rough day but in the end I have great friends and an awesome mom and so much to be thankful for.My store will be crazy for the next 5 weeks so I pray I can make it through yet another Christmas working retail.I get really stressed this time of the year and the mean customers who come out this time of the year can be really hard to deal with for me anyway.

OMG last Friday my mom and I went out to eat at T.G.I Fridays and I got really sick from the food I ate from there, am never going there again, I would warn anyone around here to not go there, I am finally almost back to normal after almost a week, hoping you all have a good weekend, Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, it's me Lisa, lol. Sorry I have'nt been around too much lately.I spend way too much time playing on Facebook and I am on Twitter.com too as well as My Space.OMG The Cold Case ending last night really had me upset, I love Lilly on Cold Case and I hope to God she is ok, I wish I could fast forward this week to next Sunday the 10'th so I can find out if Lilly is ok, I know I always mention Jorja and post her pictures because I love her and she's my favorite actress, but I have come to love all of the characters on Cold Case especially Scotty and Lilly.I can relate to Lilly in a big way with the abuse from her past and her bad relationship with her father, I think she is a terrific actress too .Speaking of fathers this coming week drums up a time that I do'nt like thinking about, This coming Thursday the 7'th it would be one year since my dad died.I look back and wish things could have been different between us , and I really do think that he wished his stepkids were his own kids instead of me and my brother.I never mentioned this before except to one good friend, but it was his stepkids who scattered his ashes a few weeks after the memorial service instead of me and my brother.Yeah that bothers me, but I am used to people shutting me out especially family members.Anyway thanks for listening to my rant, I am watching Randy Pausch giving The Last Lecture and once again seeing how amazing he was as a person, I love you all Lisa XOXOXO

Hi friends, whew it's been a while, thought I would surprise you all with an entry, I've been doing ok, working lots and getting ready for summer.It was really hot today so I went back to my old hometown on the coast in Pacifica to visit, the beach was packed !!!!!!! I love my new apartment, I never get tired of looking at the ducks out my living room window or the cranes and pelicans during the fall.

I still love Facebook, spend way too much time on there, lol.It will be one year next month on the 7'th since my dad passed away, I ca'nt believe it, I do wish we could have had a better relationship years ago but you ca'nt really change the past I guess, just move forward , my dad's brother is moving to Vegas in a couple of months, He retired from his longtime job last week, I worry about him, I do'nt think he will like the heat much there in the summer, I am also worried about my 22 year old brother, he has really bad acid reflux , He is finally seeing a doctor tommorow, hope he does'nt have throat cancer or sonething, he is always clearing his throat, will update as soon as I hear something from him tommorow, should be hot again tommorow, Have a good week everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

OMG, totally just totally sucked to say the least, When I woke up this morning I saw that my ipod clock radio had somehow broken, lovely, that was only the start.I went to work feeling like I had been hit by a car since I did'nt sleep well last night.I got to work and heard Sunday morning there was a store meeting at 7:30 a.m. until 10 :00, gee ca'nt wait,I was hoping when I came into work to be in the front end of the store because it's cooler up there , but I was stuck in the back all day where there is no air and it's extremely hot.I had to grab a fan in the store to keep myself cool, when it was finally time for my break I went to Starbucks to get a refill of my favorite iced tea lemonade but the girl behind the counter refused to give me a refill because nobody had bothered to mark my drink cup there this morning, I was really pissed considering I go there every day and give them business, defeated I went back to work thirsty hot and irritated.The day just dragged on today forever, when I finally got off work I spilled a cup of cranberry juice all over the front of me and when I was taking the bus home I accidently jabbed the woman sitting in front of me with my fingernail on the head,I have a bad habit of putting my hand on the seat in front of me, she turned around and gave me the dirtiest look, anyone want to be me ?????? Thanks for listening, I do hope tommorow is better since I'm working tommorow and Friday too, Thank you to Lyn who sent me a cute card in the mail, it was the only time I smiled all day, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

My rant and finally an update

Hi friends, yup it's me, I'm still here, thanks for those of you who were concerned as to why I have'nt updated lately, my life is pretty boring for the most part.See that beautiful little girl whose picture I posted there ? I heard tonight on the news that man who took her life 16 years ago was appealing his death sentence.Made me so mad, Polly was only 12 when she was kidnapped and bound and gagged and then strangled to death.Why should her killer Richard Allen Davis be allowed to live when he murdered an innocent child ?He is a useless piece of garbage , as it is he has lived longer then Polly did.

Polly's case touched my life in such a profound way, I remember when she first went missing hanging up flyers at my high school with her smiling face praying she was found in time.I was devastated when her body was found, Polly never deserved what happened to her.I still think of her sometimes.

Anyhow I've been ok, finally got some hours back at work this week, my store is'nt as busy as it used to be and it's sad but I am grateful to have a job still, I love my new place, it's awesome, I can see the airplanes coming in to SFO from my bedroom window, I love seeing all the water wildlife too like the ducks and the cranes, wishing you all a good week what is left of it, I Love You All Lisa XOXOXO

The True Friendship Award

Hi friends, wow another entry , lol.Anyhow wanted to pass this award along to 4 very deserving J- landers

Amy who has the journal Odd Mom Out and who is such a great mom to her three adorable sons, she has always been a true friend to me offering me advice or just simply being there for me and I feel like she is family because we know each other so well, she truly deserves this award.

Emmi who has the journal Emmi's Snagger Tagger and the journal If Scales Could Talk , Emmi has always been such a great friend to me consoling me over the phone when I heard Jorja was leaving CSI, she always leaves me kind comments in both of my journals and always sends me pretty cards in the mail.She is deserving of this award.

Lisa Jo is very deserving of this award too, she has always been kind and thoughtful sending me CSI articles in the mail , I have known her a while now and she is one of the most caring people I have ever known , I got her to watch CSI and Cold Case too.

Chrissie who has the journal Nay's Cache is also deserving of this award, she is such a great nay- nay to her adorable grandson Kyan, I always enjoy my late night IM chats with her and I loved talking to her on the phone too before, she is a wonderful lady and a great friend to many.

Saturday Thoughts

Hi friends, thought I'd better give you all a little update, I have been getting ready for my move this coming week and still feel really lame I gave you all my wrong apt number , for those of you that did'nt get a heads up I gave my new address to my new apt number is # 305 instead of # 303 , please make a note , anyhow I am really glad I am moving from here because the people below me have become absolute nightmares, every night when I turn over in bed they are knocking on my wall and in the last 2 weeks they have filed two noise complaints against me, total bs !!!!!!!!! Another thing I do'nt get is that they have lived below me since 07 and are saying they have just noticed noise in the last 3 weeks , WTF ????????? I am not noisy at all, but I sure hope whoever moves in here next is , I hope it's a young college kid that likes to blast thier stereo into the wee hours of the night.

Anyhow work has been kind of quiet lately, I will be back Monday and hopefully meet our new manager .I guess at Christmas he was at our store helping out setting displays up and what not.Robin said he was a sweetheart so I was happy to hear that.I hope you all have a great Sunday, I'll try and do one more entry on here before I move, I Love You All Lisa XOXOXO

Hi friends, hope you all had a great weekend, I got some wonderful news last night, a co -worker of mine called me and told me our current manager Diane is leaving after this week, all I can say is " Thank God " I never liked her and although I never really blogged much about her on here she made me miserable.I never felt that she liked me and she disrespected me several times putting me down to work on days I requested off even threatening to replace me one time over the phone so all I have to say is "So long bitch and do'nt let the door hit ya on the way out "

Anyhow things are going ok regarding my move, I will be here in this place for about three more weeks and then next month on Valentine's Day I'll be all settled in my new digs, I hope I gave you all my new address, if not please email me and I'll give it to you.I must say I am loving Facebook, it's quickly become my favorite website and I try to keep quiet on there about work issues because some of my co - workers are on my friend's list including one of my asst managers, wishing you all a wonderful upcoming week, I love you all Lisa XOXOXOXO

Hi friends, I have not been very good about updating here lately, I must say my new addiction is Facebook, worse then candy or fast food that website I'm telling ya, lol.Anyhow I was reading the new issue of US magazine earlier about how Jennifer Love Hewitt called off her wedding and part of it was because of body insecurities, Usually I look of celebs and think they have it all, beauty, wealth, a great lifestyle , but reading the article about Jennifer made me stop and think, I look at her and see a beautiful woman, but man who would think that she was insecure with herself ? I would'nt, I admit I eat to mask emotional issues and food can be a great comfort right ? It ca'nt call you names or make you feel bad, it's always there.

When I was growing up I was always made fun of by my father and it made me grow up to be very insecure and unsure of myself, I feel at times like I am never good enough or pretty enough and it sucks.I'll share a secret with you all, after my dad passed away it was his stepkids that went and scattered his ashes, not me and my brother.I feel again like I was'nt good enough to be there for that, but who knows ? Maybe his last wishes were for them to scatter his ashes, I'll never know I guess, I was in Sequoia National Park the day he died, but seriously I never really did feel like he ever loved me, sure we made up before he passed away and everything , but that uncomfortable tension still lingered in the air, I read years ago that Jennifer Love Hewitt's dad walked out of her life years ago too, I feel for her knowing that , I really am touched when I read about fathers who are always there for thier kids and would do anything for them, sometimes I wish I could have known what that was like, I am a work in progress , but I try to be the best person I can be and love others without judgement and accept them for who they are, thanks for listening to my rant, I love you all Lisa XOXOXO

Did any of you hear this weekend about the disturbing story of an elderly couple that fell off of a Carnival cruise ship ? It is thought that they both commited suicide because thier cabin room was locked from the inside, does'nt it seem like there have been way too many accidents on cruise ships lately ?

What the hell is going on anyway ??????? Not too long ago a woman jumped from a cruise ship and then two days later a cruise ship employee fell overboard, Anyhow I am excited tommorow Obama will be sworn in, I think he will make a great president and I look forward to having him in office, Wishing you all a great Tuesday, I love you all Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, sorry it 's been a while since my last update, I've been busy packing stuff up here getting ready for my move.I got good news yesterday when I went to work, my store will not be one of the 26 stores that will be closing, thank God !!!!!!

Now all you CSI fans, tommorow is the night, I am sad that Grissom will be leaving the show, it will never be the same without him, I am hoping that Sara is supposed to be on tommorow's show that there is a happy ending in store for my favorite couple.Please no more sad endings and tension between Grissom and Sara, let them both be together because they deserve to be happy.I hope the producers give me the ending I want for them and for all of us too who love Grissom and Sara.I will miss seeing Jorja after tommorow's show, but I hope she finds work for another show because she is an amazing actress , she means so much to me, I hope someday to meet Jorja and give her a huge hug and tell her how much she means to me.I was pissed off to hear that Bush will be giving a speech tommorow night, I hope it does'nt screw up CSI's time slot and for those of you who are recording the show tommorow night, please do'nt forget to set up your VCR's for like 70 minutes instead of the usual 60 minutes, I have my new address so for those of you that would like it please email me at lisa41076@aol.com and I'll gladly give it to you.My first day in my new place will be Valentine's Day, sweet deal, lol.Hope you all are doing well, I Love You All Lisa XOXOXO

Hi friends, it's been a tiring day, but it's official, I'll be moving to another remodeled unit here on Feb 14'th, lol.I viewed the new place tonight, it was really nice, freshly remodeled kitchen, pretty new carpeting, newly remodeled bathrooms, and best of all I wo'nt have to live around the remodel either like my next door neighbors did, That is never easy and a total pain in the ass.

When I got the mail today there was a very nice picture of Billy Petersen on the cover of this Friday's TV Guide, however the headline " Goodbye Grissom" made me sad, I did also read tonight on one of Jorja's fansites when the final CSI airs where Grissom leaves to be sure and set up your VCR's a few minutes beyond the hour because it said the ending is not to be missed, well I know for a fact I'll be watching next Thursday with wet eyes, It will be a sad night for me, Wishing you all a good Thursday tommorow, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, Thanks Sugar for the awesome New Year's tag on the left,It has been a few days since I last updated and I do apologize for that, Been sick with the cold from hell and got some bad news a few days ago about a good friend of mine I met in high school who has Stage 4 cancer which is'nt curable so I guess I was kind of depressed and wanting to lay low and cry and be alone for a few days.I went back to work today for the first time in 5 days, got my sinus headache back at work, it made for a long and tiring day to say the least.I was really happy to go home today, I ca'nt believe tommorow is New Year's , 2008 was not a good year for me, I lost my dad and other crap happened I do'nt really want to talk about, but I have high hopes for the new year, and we have a new president that I think is totally awesome and I think 2009 will be better for all of us..I wish you all a wonderful upcoming New Year's , am happy I met some new Blogger friends this year, I am grateful to have such great friends in my life, I love you all Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, hope you all had a good weekend, see that look on Jorja's face in the picture I posted, I will have that same look on my face Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. when I am off work and all the Christmas rush is over - relief I made it through another Christmas.When I went to work tonight the place was a zoo, Um what bad economy I asked several people, could have fooled me seeing the crowds and long lines.I love this time of the year but I also do'nt like it also, the holidays tend out to bring out the ugly side of alot of people and it 's really sad to see.

I found out some sad news a couple of days ago, this girl I went to high school with was found dead on a golf course in my former hometown, I was friendly with her in high school and she was shy , but really nice.I feel for her family and I hope they can get some answers as to what happened to Laura.

Hi friends, I am home after a very busy day at work, Oh man it was crazy in there today.I just tried my best to keep the lines moving as fast as I could so nobody would yell at me or give me dirty looks and guess what, it worked, lol.For the most part the customers in my store are pretty cool, but trust me there are trolls who come in a store this time of the year and complain about the lines, do'nt know what they really expect at Christmas time, stay home and shop online if you do'nt like it, shit, lol.

Temps are in the 30's, that is cold for San Mateo.My store was a madhouse from the minute I walked in today until the minute I left, When I came in I saw this woman who have waited before in the past, she is what I would consider a huge troll !!!!!! Anyhow Virginia wanted me to go over to the Christmas food section and check something that troll lady wanted to buy, however what she wanted was'nt there so it was very satifying for me to tell her we were out of what she wanted which we were.

I'm watching some vintage CSI episodes on Spike TV, I am sad about Billy Petersen leaving the show in January, last week's episode where he announced he was leaving was sad, I am not sure about how Lawrence Fishbourne will be on CSI.I ca'nt imagine CSI without Grissom myself, No Christmas cards today when I checked the mail, but I must say it is fun to get them in the mail, Wishing you all a wonderful Wednesday, I Love You All Lisa XOXOXO

Hi friends, I have a heavy heart tonight as I type this, I was just devastated this morning when I found out Caylee Anthony's body was found.Although from the minute she went missing June 16, th she captured my heart.She had such a beautiful angelic face I had always hoped deep down she would be found alive.I followed this case from the beginning turning on Nancy Grace every night to find out the latest news about Caylee.

I always prayed every night for Caylee and she crossed my mind at least once a day whether at work or at the grocery store.Lisa Jo I know you must be so sad hearing about this too, you and I both followed this case very closely.I do'nt have much more to say tonight, but I love you all very much, Lisa XOXOXO

Another Day , Another Dollar, ....................

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Wednesday.My day was pretty hectic to say the least.My store was so busy today several times I asked myself " What bad economy ?" When I was trying to go use the restroom today this old man walked up to me with a bag of candy and asked "How much?" I calmly told him one of the cashiers could check for him and went on my way, people can be so annoying sometimes.

Later on during this afternoon a customer got mad at Diane when it took her 15 minutes to come over to Julie's register and approve a return.The lady snapped to Diane "It took you long enough" Diane with a clenched lip muttered " I was with a customer" I fought a huge smile.I finally got all of my Christmas cards written out so you all should be recieving them very soon in the mail.My last paycheck I recieved was majorly screwed up so I had to be reissued another one and it has'nt come yet, so frustrating because I have more shopping to do, sigh .......... I was playing around with my ipod touch last night and it is sooooooo awesome,. Hi friends, hope you all had a good start to your week.I was off work today so I spent a good majority of the day writing out my Christmas cards.Thank you so much for all of your kind comments regarding my Saturday entry, really I'll be ok, Sometimes I try so hard to see the good in others I blind myself to the fact that not everyone is real or a true friend.I do believe that there are good people in the world however because everyone that reads my journal is a good person.

Learning the Hard Way

Hi friends, hope you all are having an enjoyable weekend.Recently I learned another hard lesson in life about someone I thought was a friend, but it turns out this person is a user and does'nt care about me at all.It's not a J- lander , but someone I worked with .Unfortunately there is a store meeting tommorow early so I will be stuck seeing this person.I came to care about this person alot, even emailed them to see how they were doing since we work different shifts now, but they never bothered to write back so I see now that this friend - ship is one sided with me doing all the work, that's it. It's over, another hard lesson in life, I could cry about this, but it's not worth it.I'll get over it, eventually.

Thankful Thursday

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Thursday.Mine was crazy at work, but now I'm home with the day behind me, lol.I had just one troll customer today, this one woman who was holding up my line checking her reciept and then informed me " You made a mistake" when I was ringing up the next person in my line .I sighed and told her I would fix it in a minute.When I got the mail today there were two Christmas cards, one from Lisa Jo and one from Missie, thank you guys so much for the mail, Anyone who wants to exchange Christmas cards with me who does'nt have my address , email me please !!!!!!!! Hi friends, hope you all had a good Tuesday.Mine was ok, My store was pretty crazy today and it will just get worse in the next 3 weeks.I'm telling you, bears have it good, they get to hibernate in the winter and wake up in the Spring.Wish I could transform myself into a bear between now until January 1'st.

I am going to try and get my Christmas cards out this coming Saturday so anyone that would like to exchange cards with me, email me your address please if I do'nt have it already.I am so excited I have most of all of you again on Blogger.I thought I would end up hating Blogger, but it's not really bad.I must say those 6 months when my computer was down was pure hell for me, my computer is my lifeline !!!!!!!! I love being able to talk to you all again and being able to journal again.

Anyhow hope you all have a good hump day tommorow, Emmi thank you so much for the Thanksgiving card and the picture of you , you are so beautiful !!!!! I just love getting snail -mail.My tv in the living room crapped out this weekend so I went to Best Buy on Saturday and bought a flat screen one.It will not be delivered until December 14'th however because Best Buy has been really busy lately.I mailed Jorja's Christmas present off Monday, I hope she likes it.I got her a pretty eco -logical calender with pretty pictures inside like icebergs and polar bears and flowers, and peace sign earrings.I love Jorja so much, she is such a great human being and a good person in real life.I am proud to be her # 1 fan, lol.Have a good Wednesday everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXOXO

Hi friends, hope you all had a decent weekend, mine was'nt too bad.I worked today and my store was pretty busy, mostly people were buying advent calenders , Then I got home and I noticed tommorow was December 1'st- Duh me, lol. When I was doing go - backs in my store today this lady over in the Christmas food section farted really loudly.I fought the urge to laugh and continued putting stuff back.I am off work tommorow, yea thank God because I have things to do like mailing a couple of packages including one to my favorite foxy lady from CSI - the beautiful Jorja Fox.

I would like to do a Christmas card exchange with you all so those of you who do'nt have my address yet, email me so we can exchange addresses.Ok my new favorite website has got to be Facebook, it is so damn fun, I love it !!!!! I love my new laptop, I got the Apple Macbook Pro.It is really easy to learn on and I love how clear the screen is on it.Not to mention I can take it with me when I travel so I can check in with you all, Yea !!!!!!

Hi friends, it feels so good to be back online again, I am glad that Blogger finally let me on there so I could find you all again !!!!!!!!!!!!! I have really missed all of you so very much, it was pure torture for me when my computer was down, work has been so - so lately, I am not really happy with our new manager there, but I try to make the best of the situation that I can, Still faithfully watching CSI every Thursday although the thought of Billy Petersen leaving the show in January makes me really sad :( Billy is the heart of CSI, ca'nt imagine how the show could go on without him.

Hi friends, it's me again writing to you from the library, thanks for all of your kind words and support. A friend told me that I might not be able to access Blogger on a public computer, dang no wonder I'm having so much trouble. Do'nt worry, I'll figure something out, I was on Ebay earlier checking to see if there was a CSI calender for 2009, well there is but it's located in the UK, why is that ? CSI is the most popular show on TV and yet the calenders are in the UK only :( A huge phooey there !!!!!!!!!!!!! I have tried to get onto Blogger and it wo'nt fucking let me, keeps denying my password no matter which one I try.Screw it, maybe I'll just write blogs on my My Space page because I ca'nt deal with frustration right now, my tolerance is at an all - time low.Diane is not working out well as our manager, there are countless problems with her and I am not happy, nor is anybody else at work.She needs to go and fast !!!!!!! Well, well, I go to sign on this week to check my email and what do I see ??????? This end of this month Aohell is deleting all of our journals, gee thanks a lot Aohell !!!! I do'nt know if I will able to save all of my pictures I have and that makes me really upset. I am thinking as far as my fan fiction j goes I will either have to write up a happy ending for Grissom, Sara and Emmi or end it somehow which F- ing sucks because I am not ready to end it yet, this F -ing sucks and definetely ruined my week.It also makes the fact I am getting a laptop sometime this month a little less appealing, but I am going to continue to blog somewhere, not sure where I'll end up, but you all will know.This week has been tiring to say the least, One thing that makes me happy is CSI starting next Thursday night again, thank God for CSI , it has gotten me through some rough times in my life as so have all of you too, I am really sad for all of you who have Aol journals , I have met so many awesome people in J- land, I hope you all will continue to journal, one thing that concerns me though is that alot of you have sent me your new links , but until I have my own computer again I am not able to save stuff in my favorites, I guess I will save the links in my inbox until I get my laptop, Hope you all have an awesome weekend, rain is coming here, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, here I am at the library .Hope your day is going ok so far.I love being off work Mondays, maybe working a few hours Sunday is'nt that bad.Anyone catch the season premiere of Cold Case last night ? So good and yes Lisa Jo last week I saw the first Without a Trace and it was awesome !!!!!!!! I am really looking forward to the premiere of CSI October 9'th , I know I will be crying when Grissom hugs Sara, I love thier chemistry together and they are an adorable TV couple.Also on October 14'th Season 8 of CSI comes out on DVD, I requested that day off of work, hehe.I am really looking forward to October because I will be getting my laptop- yea !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And also a pink Apple Ipod and a cell phone too, lol. A Sad Start to the week

Hi friends, here I am at the library, waves.My week got off to a sad start, Monday at the Mollie Stone's grocery store in San Mateo there was an accident in the parking lot there.A roofing truck lost control of it's brakes and came barreling out of control down a hill.The truck crashed into the parking lot smashing 9 cars and killing a 9 year old boy and his mom was badly injured and pregnant and sadly lost the baby.I cried when I heard what happened and there is a memorial for the little boy on a tree in the Mollie Stone's parking lot, some of his little friends had left " I love you" balloons and stuffed animals I went by there today and it nearly destroyed me.I could'nt stop crying .I bought a lavender rose and left it by the tree for Tyler.He was a really cute kid and I feel so bad about what happened to him.Work is going ok, Diane and I am getting along a little better, crosses fingers, I have agreed to work Sundays for a few hours, For those of you Cold Case fans this Sunday the new Season starts, yea !!!!!!!!! I am really excited for CSI's October 9'th premiere, Hope you all are doing ok, I am so behind in alerts , but I'll catch up, I have the song The Other Side of the World by Kt Tunstall stuck in my head so I posted the video on my My Space blog if any of you would like to hear it, it's a beautiful song that makes me cry, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, here I am at the library writing to you all, I am still so surprised Jorja sent me another picture but it came at a time when I really needed it, she is so beautiful in that picture she sent me. I think Jorja has the prettiest smile of any movie star.I just want to cry right now , I am miserable at work, again, I do'nt like our new manager Diane at all !!!!!!!!!!! From what I have seen of her so far, I think she puts the customers before the employees and it is really fucked up how some of us are being treated.I have had weekends off for a while and now she tells me from now on because of some union thing I will have to work one a week on the weekends, Bullshit !!!!!!!!!!! Guess I will looking for another job soon, also she is making the employees who have been there for years work weekends, what kind of crap is that ???????? An Unexpected Surprise after a horrible week

Hi friends, my computer at home is down once again so here I am at the library, this has been such a horrible week I had.It was my first week back to work after Amelia was sadly sent back to Store # 25 and I miss her already.She was fun to work with and made me laugh.Our new manager Diane is ok I guess.She is a hard - working lady , but she does'nt have much of a personality.Sigh............ I have'nt felt well all this week, I had crying spells and my back hurt so bad and I just felt really sad .When I went to work Thursday I figured out why, my period hit me and came with a vengance.There was one good thing that did happen this week though, Thursday when I went to get the mail there was a big tan envelope addressed to me , I carefully opened it and inside was an autographed picture to me from Jorja, I held the picture to my chest and cried.That lady made my week so much better, How did she know my week had been hell ? Her mail came at a perfect time, I love Jorja so much, she is an amazing human being as well as my favorite actress. I hope she liked the birthday gifts I sent her.I just wish I could have seen her open them.Tommorow I have to be at work at 7:00 a.m. for a meeting, how flipping fun !!!!!!!!!!! Not !!!!!!!! Hi friends, it's me Lisa, writing to you all from the library, hope you all are doing well and enjoying your weekend, I'm tired , but ok.I have'nt been sleeping too well lately , but I have a Dr's appt Wednesday to find out what is going on.What's going on with me ? Well for the most part work is going ok, I adore our new asst manager Amelia and am taking her to lunch Friday before she starts work, I guess the fact that she is above me does'nt matter if I take her to lunch right ? I do'nt see that as a big deal , but then again I am not like most people so my line of thinking is not always what everyone else's is, Last week I offered to take my Uncle Mark to lunch for his birthday, since he was away , I left him a message telling him to call me when he got back from his trip which was last Sunday, well did he ??????? No I was pissed and hurt and still am, Sometimes I think I must have an invisible bullseye on my back or something, However in October he is moving to Vegas, I say since all he does is hurt my feelings maybe it's best he is moving, hope he enjoys the triple digit temps there since he has been an S.F. native all his life, anyhow I was all excited this week when I heard the new CSI promo for Season 9 was out, course I ca'nt view it from my computer at home which irritates me to no end, but I'll try to have a looksie at the library even though I wo'nt be able to hear the sound, I did hear somewhere that Grissom and Sara were in bed together in the clip, Oooooooohhhh that's hot, lol.Anyhow hope you all have a good upcoming week, I cannot wait for October to come when I'll finally have my laptop, I Love and Miss You All Lisa XOXO

Rant of the week and other stuff

Hi friends, here I am at the library writing my weekly entry, hope you all are doing well and enjoying your weekend.Please give me your thoughts about what I am writing now, my brother went to visit my former neighbor Larry who is a retired policeman Monday to show him his new car, I had seen Larry last in April when his friend and my friend too Ted had come to visit, anyhow Larry was talking to my brother and he was like " Wow you know, your sister has put on alot of weight since I last saw her 4 years ago" Ouch, the zinger here is Larry's son Aaron used to be 400 pounds before he had bypass surgery a year ago so I would say Larry is a huge hypocrite and another thing too, just because Aaron had the surgery and it was a success for him does'nt mean everyone else would have the same results Aaron did, Yeah ok I know I am not skinny, I'm aware of that, but hey at least I am a nice person and a good friend and I care about other people.That remark totally pissed me off, I never said anything mean about Aaron's weight either in all the years I knew Larry, I know I do'nt eat the greatest and my soda addiction is probably to blame for my weight gain, so if anything I am the only one who is in control of what I eat, I need to start trying harder and laying off the soda and drinking water instead and limiting my fast food intake, my feelings were hurt by Larry ( I guess since he is retired now, he does'nt have much to do except run his mouth), but the more I think about it, he does'nt matter to me and all of you do, anyhow work is going ok, we are still without a manager, but one of the asst managers Amelia from the Mountain View store has been helping us, Amelia is so sweet and cool, I hope she can stay at our store , I enjoy working with her alot, I am hoping to have my laptop sometime in October so thank you all for sticking with me and I promise things will be just like old times very soon, Have a good upcoming week everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, here I am at the library once again , waves, I went online this morning to read and comment on journals and I got to access and comment on a few and then my damn computer refused to let me read anymore journals, Oh I am not happy at all about this, all this time I kept telling myself at least I can read journals and comment, hopefully this will just be a minor glitch that happened today and not an ongoing thing , if it is an ongoing thing I will come here twice a week and read journals and comment so please know I will get caught up eventually and I'll get behind , but know I will play catch up sometime during the week, I ca'nt wait to get my laptop, October ca'nt come fast enough, Hope you all are having a good weekend, I am working 4 days this week, but will try to go to the San Mateo County Fair Thursday hopefully, I was shocked yesterday hearing about Bernie Mac, 50 is way too young to die :( Talk to you all soon again , probably Friday, pray that whatever is wrong with my computer today is over tommorow, this truly sucks !!!!!!!! Hi friends, it's your long lost buddy Lisa writing my weekly entry.Vegas was fun, really really hot I might add 104 was pretty much the temp there all this week, , but fun.I had absolutely no luck playing the slot machines but I knew more then likely that would happen.Before I left to go to Vegas I got sad news at work that the new beverage cutie pie Andy who I had a crush on was leaving, luckily before I left we took some pictures together, Andy had that rare combo of being really cute and really nice, we exchanged phone numbers and email addresses so I will defintely be keeping in touch with him.Today I went to a street fair with my mom and saw a few things that were cool. I saw a Stationary store that was going out of business so I had to go in there because you guys know I send alot of snail - mail and this one lady in there really pissed me off, she beat me out of getting an alarm clock with a cat on it by one second, the alarm clock meowed instead of making an obnoxious ring, she was such a snotrag to me when I asked her if my mom could see what the alarm clock looked like She was like "It does'nt matter anyway, she's not buying it" Ooooooooohhhhh I wanted to slap her cowboy hat off of her nasty head, Anyhow hope you all are doing well, I am behind on journals but bear with me, I'll catch up as fast as I can, I have been away for a week , but I'll get caught up.I ca'nt help thinking Caylee Anthony should be celebrating her 3'rd birthday today and it's a damn shame she is'nt, There is something really wrong with the grandmother Cindy and the daughter Casey, I think both of them are acting beyond strange, Kind of reminds me of when Laci Petersen was missing and how Scott kept saying he wanted to focus on finding Laci, I smell a couple of rats in that family, I'll be back journaling on here next week, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, it's me, your long lost buddy Lisa who used to be a J -land regular, but still tries to keep in touch with you all with my broken computer.I have been so sad after hearing Randy Pausch died yesterday of pancreatic cancer,I feel like a member of my own family has died, Randy really touched my heart with his words when he appeared on Dateline that time with Diane Sawyer, He also wrote a bestselling book called The Last Lecture which is still a bestseller today.He had such love for his wife and his 3 kids, he was talking about a tv movie and he said something like "I do'nt know who would play my wife because she is so beautiful, he kept saying it was unfair that he would'nt be around to see his children grow up, Last night when I was watching 20 / 20 a preview for this Tuesday's Primetime aired and the show this Tuesday night will be about Randy and remembering him, If any of you never saw his Dateline interview with Diane Sawyer I urge you all to watch this show this Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. on ABC , be inspired by his words, I wish my own father had been that loving and caring towards his family as Randy was, the world lost a great man yesterday who forever touched my heart.I would like to wish my awesome friend Michelle a big welcome home :) She had a rough patch for a few days but is now back again , welcome back hon, so glad you are doing ok , and know that you were missed alot by me and many others, Hope you all have a great weekend, I'm off work till Tuesday, Thank God, this week between the inventory and Cyndie hanging around like wet wash was not fun`, anyhow hope you all are doing well, I hope to be back here on a regular journaling basis soon, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, I'm still alive, here at the library writing this entry, my computer refused to let me online again so I am not too happy, hope you all are doing well, I sure miss you all and J - land too, not too much going on with me, I was shocked to hear last week my favorite leading man, William Petersen is leaving CSI next season, however my favorite foxy lady will be appearing for a few episodes so that is good at least, but I do'nt think after Billy leaves CSI , I will want to watch anymore, he is CSI - the show will never be the same without him Sniff, boo- hoo :( Anyhow there is a birthday tommorow, the beautiful Angie of Peyton's Water will be 35, Happy Birthday Angie !!!!!!! Hi friends, it's your long lost friend Lisa writing to you from the library, hope you all have been doing ok, I am still royally pissed off about my computer situation, I was proud to read last week Jorja is raising awareness about preventing cruelty towards circus animals, there is footage I saw last night on Geraldo of some of the animals being beaten and kicked and I was in tears watching that, kudos to Jorja for caring so much and for using her celebrity for a good cause.This week 2 awesome J -landers are having a birthday, on Thursday My lovely friend Donna turns 50 so Happy Early Birthday my sweet and awesome friend !!!!!!!! Thanks for being such a loving and sweet friend to me.This coming Sunday the gorgeous Angie of the journal Peyton's Water turns 35, Angie hope you have a wonderful birthday, I just love and adore you so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi friends, well it's been a while and my computer is still screwed up thanks to my brother downloading some porn on it one night when I was sleeping, gee thanks bro, I went today to Best Buy to look at laptops and I really liked the Apple Mac Book so I think whenever I get back from my trip I will purchase it, also today I went to Pet Smart and fell in love with another cat, a female cat that was white and brown with big blue eyes, she was a really sweet kitty, I'm hoping when I get back from my trip , I can adopt her. Mailing off a birthday present for a foxy lady

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Friday, I was sooooo glad to be off work today, I mailed Jorja's package off today with all her birthday goodies plus a birthday card for her too and made sure I got a delivery confirmation, I bought her a pretty flat heart box with colored hearts for all her presents, A heart box is totally fitting for Jorja because she is my favorite actress, I love her so much, lol. My favorite gift I sent her was a shadowbox from my store, if you all are interested in seeing the shadowbox I got Jorja go to http://www.worldmarket.com and type shadowboxes in the search line , I got Jorja the one with 4 flowers in all 4 of the squares, somehow the card I got Michelle was accidently shipped to Jorja in her eco friendly tote bag, I slipped the card in there last night and forgot about it, but knowing how cool Jorja is, she will probably forward it on, Angie your package is on the way and Amy's yours is too, I am beyond tired , but very relieved I got all that mail out today, it was eating at me, Tommorow I am going to the Gem show with my friend Anna, will just bring $ 25 so I do'nt overspend, have a good weekend friends, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, sorry for the late entry, new picture of Jorja above, She looks awesome as always, I love her new haircut, she is so gorgeous , I am getting ready to get Jorja's birthday present ready to send off, all of the goodies I'm sending her are from my store and here they all are, a peace ring, a eco friendly World Market tote bag, a shadow box which is a little glass box with a flower, and a birthday card, I need to send mail off to some other friends too , might as well send it all at once Friday, There is a new beverage guy at my store Andy and he is a hottie, lol. I would say he is as handsome as Danny Pino ( Scotty from Cold Case ) pictured below in all his handsome glory :)

I think Andy likes me too, which makes me excited , but a little nervous too, today when I was sitting out in the Food Court Andy saw me and sat down with me, I was like OMG, lol.I like Andy and I get the impression he likes me too, he knocked a bottle of wine over near my register today and I helped him clean it up with the sawdust, he seemed embarrased about dropping the wine , but I just shrugged and said "I've broken enough stuff in here telling him a story about how the first week of work when I was new somebody was buying a case of wine and when I went to load the box into thier cart the bottom of it gave way and 12 bottles crashed and broke on the floor making a huge mess, I was morified when that happened, I bought Andy one of our best candy bars in my store on my break, he liked it too, it is a chunky Kit Kat made in the UK , so it tastes way better then the one sold at the grocery store, anyhow hope you all have a great Thursday, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

I told myself last night I would write about this in my journal, but whatever.Things between my friend Debbi and I have'nt been so good lately, she never seems to want to make an effort for us to hang out , even though I rarely get to see her more then 5 minutes during the week , we used to be able to have lunch twice a week when we were both working , but now I can never get away when I want to, it's frustrating, I've told her countless times we should hang out on the weekends so we can chat without constant interuptions but she gives me lame excuse about doing laundry on Sundays, Come on, one damn day you ca'nt break your rut ?I've stopped calling her, I do'nt even feel happy anymore when she shows up at lunch and expects me to have my break whenever I can, Usually by the time I get my break , it's time for her to go back to work so if I'm lucky we get to chat for 5 minutes when I am working, I'm sick and tired of her pretending to be my friend and telling me when she sees me " I think about you every day" and this and that, Yeah sure you do, then why do you make an effort for us to hang out, I feel this so - called friendship has become very one - sided with me doing most of the work, I'm pretty sick of it too, Sometimes I wish she had'nt moved back here to San Mateo, our friendship first got damaged I think when she moved two years ago, I feel I deserve better then a 5 minute "Hi" twice a week, does she ever call me ????? A Cold Case Worth Watching

Hi Friends, hope you all had a good Friday, I enjoyed my day off today from work, I got together with my Uncle Mark and we went to dinner at the Elephant Bar, it was nice seeing him again, I wanted to let you all know that Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. on CBS is a great episode of Cold Case , anyone who has never seen Cold Case before is truly missing out, Awesome music from different decades, great cast, compelling cases, Cool special effects, Ask Lisa Jo , lol - She loves Cold Case :) Anyone who has ever felt different in life will truly relate to the teen girl on this episode on Sunday night, she dresses like a boy and gets alot of grief for that , but one thing that stood out when I saw this episode was what a loyal friend she was to her one guy friend and how brave she was, I have A.D.D. so I grew up feeling like I was different and like an outsider and I always wished I could be the kid who everything came easy for and who never struggled in school, so if any of you are home Sunday night , please check this show out , Anyhow hope you all have a great upcoming weekend, Angie and Amy, mail will be coming for you both soon, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Disturbing Dream

Hi friends, I am in love with that picture above, I have'nt updated in a few days,but my life is pretty boring so some days I do'nt have that much to say.I had a really disturbing dream last night that I was in a theater watching a movie about a helicopter crash and before the helicopter crashed I thought Would'nt that be something if the helicopter crashed inside the theater and then by golly it did crash through the theater and the tail end of it landed by me, I ran away screaming, Scary !!!!!!!!! - I ca'nt wait to see the new TV Guide for next week, it should come in today 's mail and it will have details about Jorja's return to CSI, This is something I have been hoping for for months, Lisa Jo you should get my present today in the mail, let me know how you like it, Have a good Wednesday everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO P.S. The Smoky Haze of Summer

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Friday, when I went out on my balcony this morning there was a smoky haze filling the sky from the Santa Cruz fire.The winds blew the smoke down in this direction.I went to the Post Office to mail a gift for a very special J - lander, grocery shopped, went by work to pick up my paycheck, when I got home I noticed my awesome watch broke - phooey it was my only one too.It was a steel Swatch I got like 3 years ago, the button that winds it broke off so now it is stuck on 4:00 p.m.:( Guess I'll buy another watch tommorow, I am lost without my watch, I hope you all have a great holiday weekend, do'nt forget Cold Case fans this coming Sunday are 2 episodes on CBS at 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m, also next Sunday on CBS 6 / 1 is a really good Cold Case that I saw back in October that is an episode I will never forget.I'll end this now since my cable seems to want to go out, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Punk - Ass Kids Invasion at World Market

Hi friends, hope you all had a good day, some excitement in my store today, one of our vendors was in my store in the wine dept and she had left her bag on the floor, so anyhow a group of teens, two girls and three boys thought it would be funny to steal her bag and they took it outside to the parking lot with her car alarm keychain and were trying to find her car so they could steal it and go for a joyride. Dave called the police and all the kids were caught, they all did'nt look so smug then when they were arrested, who raises these kids ?????? They think nothing of stealing someone's purse and then going for a joyride in a stolen car, I am a little sad today , one of my friends ( Debbi) in real life not online has'nt been much of a friend to me lately, I always want to do stuff and hang with her, but she always makes up excuses, I am thinking I may just have to cut her loose, my online friends are always there for me no matter what.I went through a hard time when my dad was ill and near death, Debbi was'nt really there for me and it made me angry and sad at the same time.I have always been there for her when she was going through a hard time, one sided friendships do'nt usually last and I am the one in this friendship who makes an effort, she never returns my calls either or she always says "I'll call you" and never does so yeah think it's time to say "Goodbye" and just move on.Anyhow enough of that rant, hope you all have a great Thursday, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, Thank you to Emmi for the awesome tag above, hope you all had a good day.Mine was ok, I enjoyed being off work today, I ended up not going to the Theme Park today after all, the weather down in Santa Cruz was'nt that nice today, I signed up a while back to be on this website called Tagged.com and it was ok at first but then every day my mailbox was flooded with somebody wants to meet you emails and it turned out to be a pain in the ass, guess I made a mistake of posting my picture on the page, I got at least 35 Someone wants to meet you emails, Thanks but no thanks, when I glanced at alot of thier pictures they looked like perverts, plus one guy sent me a picture of his dick in his shorts, uh I do'nt think so, so I deleted my page today and I'm glad I did.Emmi I appreciated your comments to me on that page, wish I could saved them somehow, I love my My Space page however and that one is staying, , tommorow it will be back to work for me, guess I am ready, have a good Tuesday everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, hope you all had a good weekend, I ca'nt believe it is almost over.The weather has cooled down alot since Thursday, thank God because it was way too freaking hot here !!!!!!!!!!! I am still loving my My Space page and thanks to all of you who friended me :) A huge" Thank you" to Emmi for the beautiful sympathy card that came in the mail yesterday, J- landers are truly the best people ever !!!!!!!!!! My brother wants me to go to a theme park ( Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk ) with him tommorow, since I'm off work, sure why not ? Today was so tiring

Hi friends, I am so emotionally drained from this day, the service was nice today but damn the temperatures were soaring today, it could have been at least a 100 degrees today in S.F. but I think I heard the temp was 97 in S.F. but a 100 was the temperature in San Mateo today, Uncle Max behaved himself today at dad's service, I was proud of him, however my brother Anthony who I rarely see was a complete A- hole to me, here is what he said to me when I was sitting in the church dying from the heat holding a little battery operated fan in my hand " Have some respect and turn that damn thing off, if you are bored, there is the exit" and he points to the door, I was like "OMG, I was'nt bored at all, just F -ing hot, was I wrong to have the little fan in my hand ? Anyway I ignored him the rest of the day, he has'nt changed a bit, he's every bit as shallow and self asborbed as he always has been, Sigh........ I was glad when it was time to leave, I felt uncomfortable making small talk to relatives I hardly ever see, by the way Jackie I tried to answer your email earlier but I got a message saying you were'nt accepting mail from me, not sure why that is , but to answer your question a month from today I will be going on a cruise to Alaska with my mom and brother, Alaska sounds good right now, it's pretty warm here even now, but a little breeze is kicking up, thank God, hope you all have a good Friday, I'll be back blogging tommorow that is if I do'nt melt, A huge thank you to Leene for the sympathy card that came in the mail today, thanks so much Leene for thinking of me, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Tommorow is the memorial service

Hi friends, hope your Wednesday was a good one, it is really hot here now - 90 degrees, whew !!!!!!! Tommorow is my dad's memorial service, I am feeling a bit anxious because of my obnoxious ass Uncle Max who will be attending.He is blunt to the point and quite rude and very obnoxious not to mention a drunk too.I am hoping tommorow if he is smart he will stay the hell away from me, however knowing him the way I do he is'nt smart.I swear to God if he comes over and tries to talk to me, I will get up and walk away, promise, Anyhow please wish me luck tommorow, it will be an emotional day, no doubt, When I saw the rack of Father's Day cards in my store today , I fought the urge to toss a blanket over the rack, my dad was no angel, but in the end he did soften up a little and become a little more human, it's just too bad it took him getting sick for that to happen, better late then never I guess, I Love You All, Pray I get through tommorow, Love Lisa XOXO

Hi Friends, whew boy it is hot here today, 86 degrees right now and supposed to get hotter the next two days, get this, it might be 104 degrees the day of my dad's memorial service, uh yikes !!!!!!!!!!!!! That is way too damn hot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope all of you that are mom's had a great day yesterday, me and my brother are taking mom out tommorow because she had a cold yesterday. Yesterday in the S.F. Hi friends, I'm doing ok , thank you for all of your continued support, your kind words touch my heart and bring tears to my eyes, thank you to my very handsome friend Phil the Thrill for my awesome Jorja tag above - I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!! A huge "Thank you" to my girl Angie for helping me create a My Space page today you did such a great job Angie, thanks so much, anyone who wants to be my friend on there , let me know , anyone know how I add people as friends ?????? There will be a memorial service next Thursday for dad, I am nervous about seeing some of the relatives there, my Uncle Max is both rude and obnoxious, he embarrased me in front of everyone at a party a few years ago poking me in the stomach and telling me I had "put on some weight" Ugh I ca'nt stand him, any hints on how to avoid him ? By the way I have a book reccomendation for you all - I bought The Last Lecture today at Target by Randy Pausch, he is an amazing man that has pancreatic cancer , he was on Dateline not too long ago and watching him talk made me cry because of his huge love for his family, he is an inspiration and very wise, I highly reccomend hs book, Hope you all have a great weekend, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, today was not an easy day, but all of you made it better, reality is starting to sink in that dad is no longer here , I have'nt cried yet but I know it will happen.I'm just glad dad is 'nt suffering anymore, no human being deserves that, cancer is a relentless disease, I admire anyone who has beat cancer or has lived to tell about it, thank you all for the kind comments and prayers and well wishes for my family, also thank you to all the kind new J- landers who have visited my CSI journal leaving loving words for me, I truly appreciate it, I Love You All Beyond Words, thank you for being there for me , Love Lisa XOXOXOXO

Hi friends, I got home tonight from my trip, I am beyond tired and this was'nt the entry I planned to write tonight but, dad passed away this morning at 8:32 a.m. at his home although yesterday I sensed he was'nt doing well , I was laying in bed with tears falling down my face, staring at the trees outside my hotel window and my 6'th sense kept nagging me, I'm so glad I saw him last Sunday one last time and told him I loved him and kissed him goodbye, hug your loved ones and kiss them for me and cherish them , I Love You All Lisa and Missed You All Lots XOXO

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Saturday, I just came back from dad's , he was lying in bed but we had a good conversation and I kissed him when I left and told him I loved him, my Uncle was torn up about dad's condition and was in tears when we left tonight, I am going to try and see my dad as much as I can while he is still around, When I went by work today Lydia shared some news with me about the Beast, I found out why those Police were at my store that day,Melissa had told them someone tried to mug her when she went out to the parking garage one night, I say "What a crock of shit" to that, Melissa was like 6 feet tall, she was like a huge Amazon woman, um does'nt make sense to me at all,betcha anything she lied to those police to get some attention , also Lydia told me one time a customer called our store to complain about Melissa because she had been rude to them, when asked to describe what the rude person looked like the customer had said "She was really tall and had the ugliest face I ever saw" Yeah I would say that is pretty fitting, lol. Hi friends, hope you all had a good Friday, I am so tired today and have no energy.Been dragging around all day, my brother called today and said dad is getting worse and now will have a hospital bed at the house instead of his regular one, that was hard to hear I must say, Just want to let all my readers know this coming Monday through Wednesday I will be going away for 3 days , but will be back sometime this Wednesday May 7'th and will get caught up on journals and emails, Tommorow Jorja Fox is going to be at an Animals benefit near Los Angeles called Animal Acres, I sure wish I was going , Los Angeles is quite a ways from here :(, my dream is to meet Jorja and give her a big hug, I did send her a card at Animal Acres with some pictures in it this week, , I hope someone gives it to her for me tommorow, I would like to say a huge "Thank you" to Mandy ( Hugsdoodlewacky) for the package with the cute goodies that came in the mail today, thanks so much Mandy !!!!!!!!!! Hi friends, I just love that picture above, Sooooooo cute, hope you all had a good Tuesday, mine was ok, quite a boring day at work, but still a good one.I saw dad again last night after work with my brother, he seemed to be in good spirits considering how sick he is, I brought him some pictures including the picture of me holding my prized autographed picture of Jorja, he was impressed she wrote to me, but Jorja is full of awesomeness as any fan of hers knows and dad and I and my brother had a pretty nice visit.On the way home though my brother's car broke down on a busy freeway at 9:30 p.m. at night, wow that totally sucked because it was really cold out and I had to pee so bad, but the guy was nice that came to tow his car and dropped us off in a better area of San Bruno then where his car broke down, he had it fixed today and it was $ 300 but at least now it runs again.I'm still mad at TNT for changing thier 11:00 Cold Case timeslot, I used to look forward to Cold Case nights on TNT, there are 2 episodes on tonight and tommorow at 4 and 5:00 a.m on TNT, I may get up tonight for one of them, what the hell, lol.I would like to say a huge " Thank You" to Emmi for the awesome birthday card that came yesterday and also to Amy for so kindly bidding on a Cold Case DVD for me on Ebay and also for the wonderful pictures of the boys and the cats that came today, thanks so much Amy !!!!!!!!!! Hi friends, hope you all are having a good weekend, mine is going ok.It's a beautiful warm day out , I've been doing alot of thinking this weekend, my dad is still not doing well and is starting to have symptoms from the cancer, Thank you for all of your prayers and well -wishes, they have meant the world to me, I could'nt help but think when I read Mary's entry in her journal yesterday I would be writing a similar entry like that soon too, Mary you are in my thoughts today, praying for your family, I may go see him again tommorow after work with my brother, I noticed TNT changed the time slot for Cold Case for now until May 8'th, now instead of it being on Tues , Wed and Thurs night at 11:00 p.m., it seems like the new time slot is 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. , I may have to get up once or twice this coming week at 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. and watch a couple of episodes, some of the ones on this week I have never seen, Although last night on CBS at 8 and last Saturday night too Cold Case was on at 8:00 p.m. on CBS and as far as I know it still airs on Sundays too at 9:00 p.m. on CBS, one of the ducks below had babies and they are so cute,hope you all have a good Sunday, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

2 Weeks to a month left to live

Hi friends, sorry I have'nt been around much, life keeps getting in the way.I saw some friends from my old neighborhood last night, it was nice catching up and seeing them again.I had an almost chance to meet my idol Jorja Fox May 3'rd at a place called Animal Acres near Los Angeles where she was going to be attending a benefit to help animals , but my friend Debbi who offered to take me could'nt get the time off work and I am going away for 3 days May 5'th so that would have been cutting it really close.I'm disappointed , but I'll live.Last night when I got home my brother was waiting, doctors have given my dad up to a month to live, they even said it could be two weeks.I guess soon I will recieve that dreaded phone call in the middle of the night, I will cringe from now on whenever the phone rings, this is so unreal, if you can send up some prayers for my family, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
