Looking forward to a new Year

Hi friends, I was thinking back on 2006, a year in which Democrats took over Congress in Nov, a year in which we lost many great icons including The Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin and the kind and compassionate Dana Reeve to name a couple.We watched Ugly Betty blossom on ABC and Mel Gibson make a drunk fool out of himself as well as Michael Richards, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt gave birth to the anxiously awaited beautiful baby Shiloh,we finally got to see the infamous Tom Kat baby Suri,  Daniel Craig drew crowds to the theaters for Casino Royale which became the highest grossing Bond movie ever, Paul Mc Cartney endured the ugliest split of the year from Heather Mc Cartney, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe, the golden couple also split as well as Brittany Spears and K-Fed who is not Fed -Ex, lol.Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook also split which was a surprise to many. Also the most famous celebrity fued this year Donald Trump VS Rosie O Donnell- Personally I would take Rosie's side over the Donald's, he just seems like an arrogant prick to me .As far as the rest of 2006 I do'nt remember everything but hopefully we will all have great memories of 2007, hoping you all have a good one, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

CSI marathon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi friends, ok for those of you CSI fanatics like me, brace yourselves, there is a CSI marathon on tommorow night starting at 5:00 p.m. on Spike TV, I am not sure how long it goes until though , possibly 11:00 p.m. because Spike has CSI NY on Sunday nights at 11:00.So get that popcorn and iced tea ready for tommorow night if you will be home.I know some of you have just started watching CSI so tommorow night would be a good night to catch up on some episodes you have never seen !!!!!!!!!!!! Friday Thoughts

Hi friends, Hope you all had a good Friday.Mine was ok, I worked today and my sweet Anthony was there when I came in looking gorgeous as always in his grey sweater .He is so adorable I always dream of kissing him, my store was really busy today and I was kind of getting overwhelmed with the line, as usual we were short-staffed which annoyed me, but I stayed calm and got through it.I got 18 people to sign up for the emails today ,not too bad , but I feel I should talk to Anthony Monday because I never hear my other co-workers asking the customers if they would like to sign up for our emails, it pisses me off in a way, I go out of my way asking people about the emails because I love making Anthony happy when I get alot of them , he has such a beautiful smile, I love seeing him smile.Anyhow I am off this weekend -woo-hoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy.I am not sure what I am doing yet for New Year's but I am excited about it's arrival.I think I would like to try really hard this year to watch my diet a little better and try to lose weight.I have stopped drinking soda which is good because I love iced tea alot too.Wishing you all a wonderful "2007" I am lucky to have such great friends as all of you, I know such awesome people in J-land, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Bad Day

Hi friends, hope your Thursday was a good one.I did'nt have a very good day today, it started out bad with my mom and I getting into a fight over the phone and then it went downhill from there.I felt tears poking beneath my eyes on my way to work and I just held them in.They threatened to fall all day , I somehow managed to go to work and put on my usual front that nothing was wrong.It was a good thing I did'nt have any mean or rude customers today or I know for sure I would have cried.My store is back to being quiet and not that busy , but I am glad about that after the chaos and stress of Christmas.I hope by tommorow this little cloud of depression hanging over me is over, Maybe my CSI tonight will help, it always does.I am soooooooooo ready for "2007" I ca'nt say "2006" was the best year of my life but it was ok as far as years go..I am looking forward to New Year's , are any of you guys doing anything fun New Year's Eve???????? I noticed today in my store I was selling lots of champange, hope I spelled that right.I think a bubble bath and a good book are in order sometime tonight.I got 16 emails for Anthony today, not bad considering the store was'nt all that busy today.I love making Anthony proud, I look up to him , he is an awesome person. Wednesday Thoughts

Hi friends, I hope you all had a good Wednesday.I was sooooooo tired this morning I slept through my sweet Anthony calling wanting me to come into work earlier, ugh there was such a bad storm this morning with rain and whipping howling winds, I really did'nt want to go out in that weather, even for Anthony as much as I adore him and think the world of him. I do'nt want to say "Yes" every single time he asks for a favor or he will think I am a sucker, which I admit I can be at times, I was chatting to my new friend Riss this morning and there was a loud boom outside and the freakin power went out.Luckily it came right back on, lol.I was so touched by what Lisa Jo wrote in her journal about me, Lisa Jo you are such a wonderful true friend and I love you so much and cherish your friendship.I am so happy you love that calender, it was screaming your name at me.I went to the mall around 10:00 this morning to do a little shopping before work, I bought some lemon lotion and a Pecan Passion lotion from Bath and Body Works who are having thier twice a year Semi-Annual Sale which I love !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was a good girl, I just spent $ 15 there.I also bought some  adorable Chihuahua Thank you notes and a CSI calender for Riss at the Calender Club too.Almost every store in the mall is having a sale, I love it !!!!!!!! When I went into work Anthony came up to me and said "Hey Lisa did you get my message this morning ? I left you one " I gave him my most innocent expression and said "Really I did'nt get the message, " but my power went out a few times so it seemed believable.I had a few returns today , but that is to be expected so soon after Christmas.It was fairly quiet in the store today and I enjoyed it.Robert was off today but I hope he liked the Starbucks giftcard.I will see him tommorow, he is closing.I have been craving a Mc Chicken sandwich all day from Mc Donald's.Maybe I will go to Burger King for lunch tommorow which is in the mall where I work.I wore this awesome glow in the dark necklace today to work that has a little crab inside of it, you can see the crab in the pendant, the only person who noticed my necklace was my asst general manager Cheryl .When I had a return Cheryl came over to scan her badge and she was like " there's a crustacean in your necklace", Robin my other asst manager was like "Well she has an excuse to be crabby then" I was laughing so hard.I got off work at 5:00 and headed home, when my brother Derek was here last night he totally messed up my channels so I sat in front of the TV in my bedroom toying with it until I had all the channels back, I need my CSI fix every night and even though I was going to take a shower I turned it on anyway because it's comforting to me to hear the cast of CSI's voices when I get out of the shower, I took a bath before I took a shower and fell alsleep in the bathtub, just pure exhaustion, lol.Tommorow night is CSI night-woot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tuesday Thoughts

Hi friends, I woke up this morning and chatted to Riss a little bit before I went off to work.I was dreading going to work today, I am soooooo over Christmas. Anthony was refilling shelves in the gourmet dept when I came in today, he looked tired.I said 'How was your Christmas?" It was ok " he said "Not the greatest Christmas, but not the worst either " he said.Poor Anthony, anyhow as I suspected all the Christmas stuff was on sale today for 75 % off, the frustrating thing was some things were'nt coming up as they were marked.I was ready to scream with frustration, ugh !!!!!!!!!! I hate when that happens, it really pisses me off.Last year it happened to, When is New Years ? I am sooooo ready for it, lol.Robert seemed ok at work today but when he was near my register I told him I had something for him and when Cheryl was 'nt around I would give it to him.I did'nt have enough money to get her a gift too, so when Cheryl was in the office I handed Robert the present and he slipped it away to open later.I am unbelievably tired , just frustrated and worn out, I am looking forward to New Year's , I enjoy New Year's -it is fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still have'nt heard from Debbi, but the silence is very telling.I was thinking of my brother Anthony today, my long -lost brother in Georgia, today is his 26'th birthday, Sigh ................. hope he has a good one, the rain is coming down hard outside now, hope my power does'nt go out tonight, Hope you all have a good Wednesday, back to work for me tommorow, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Hi Friends -Christmas Blessings

Hi friends, I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas.I enjoyed The Good Shepherd, it was a good movie, see Emily I did'nt ruin it for you,. lol. I have a new friend that I met through Phil the Thrill online.She is a beautiful girl named Riss and she loves CSI too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think she is an awesome girl and I am grateful to Phil for telling me about her. Riss welcome to my journal, I look forward to getting to know you.I was feeling a little sad earlier thinking about the two family members who are no longer in my life.My dad who I have'nt talked to in 4 years and probably could care less if I jumped in the lake or my brother Anthony who after my parents divorced drifted away and moved to Georgia and got married , I do'nt even know his new address and phone number.It is the holidays which make me reflect on the people I love the most , but they also make me think of those who are'nt in my life anymore either.I miss my Grandma who died in August 95 , just two days before her 80'th birthday, she was a beautiful loving lady who never judged anybody and had such a big heart.I would give anything to see her one more time.I could'nt help but think of my sweet co-worker Robert today too who is going through hell right now soon to be divorced.It is'nt fair, Robert is so sweet and kind, he does'nt deserve this pain and anguish in his life right now, I wish I could take his sadness away.Tommorow I will be back at work , I have a gift and a card for Robert, I ca'nt wait to give them to him, I also hope tommorow is'nt too crazy in my store although most of the Christmas stuff is gone by now, lol. I thank you all for being such great friends to me, I know some wonderful people in J-land and I feel honored to call you all my friends, I love you all and Hugs Lisa XO

Merry Christmas Friends

Hi friends, just wanted to wish you all a "Merry Christmas" I hope you all are having a wonderful day.I went out to dinner earlier with my mom and brother to Mimi's Cafe.I am stuffed now, lol.I wrote to my friend Debbi a couple of weeks ago an email that I missed her and was thinking of her.She never answered me back, it hurts but I guess now that she moved our friendship is'nt the same as it used to be which sucks , but it shows me her true colors, maybe she does'nt care about me as much as I thought she did.At least I have great friends here in J-land .Anyhow I might go see the movie The Good Shepherd tommorow , have any of you seen it yet ????????? It's Over -Whew ...............................................

Hi friends, well today was my day of work before Christmas and my store was'nt as crowded or as bad as I thought it would be today.It was a very pleasant day, I went into work early so I could give my sweet Anthony his Christmas present , I also enclosed a picture in his card the same picture I sent to all of you in the red dress, I am trying to think what I wrote in his Christmas card but I tried to tell him how awesome of a person he is, I wrote " Anthony, you are such an awesome boss, I look up to you and admire you so much, you are such a great person, wishing you a beautiful Christmas and Happy healthy "2007" You always deserve to be happy" Fondly Lisa .He smiled as he read my card today and I could tell he was touched.He was like "Lisa I do'nt know what to say, thank you" I was like "Awwwwwww you're welcome" I gave him a Napolian Dynamite talking keychain for Christmas and a 15  dollar gift card from his favorite store Nordstrom.Ok so that was the best part of my day, but I was really surprised today, I did'nt have any troll customers , There was however this little girl who was around two who was screaming at the top of her lungs in my store, my ears were ringing from the sound , and so the little girl's mom went to pay me at my register and she put her daughter up on my counter and she started to have a tantrum on my counter kicking her little legs and crying.Not to mention screaming again, I could'nt wait for them to leave, Anthony bought everyone at my store lunch today from California Pizza Kitchen, I was like "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww" he is so sweet !!!!!!! Cyndie paid us a visit today but thank god it was a short visit, those are the best ones, hehe. I got 25 emails today for Anthony, not bad.Oh and I found out today from Leslie who gave me a beautiful red scarf for Christmas why Robert was so sad yesterday.He is getting a divorce .Poor thing, he has a brand new 4 month old beautiful baby girl, I am so sad for Robert, he is a sweetheart and I think he is such a great guy, I called him when I got off work today and told him I would give him his Christmas present Tuesday, I did'nt see him when I got off work today or I would have given it to him then.I wish you all a beautiful Christmas , by the way I got my long -awaited card from Lisa Jo today, thank you sooooooo much Lisa, I love you !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Friday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Friday.I worked today and it was pretty busy in my store.Anthony looked great today in his crisp white shirt , it made his beautiful eyes stand out, Wow I ca'nt wait to give him his Christmas present tommorow, he will love it !!!!!!!! I just have one more day of Christmas left to work tommorow, woo-hoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boy am I happy.I will be relieved when I am off work tommorow, today when I got home I got Christmas cards from Chelle, Susan, Terry Ann, Mary Alice and Margo whose card was just adorable !!!!!!! Thanks so much you guys, My friend Diane sent me a big envelope with an color picture of Jorja with an autograph on top, Wowza !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was sooooooo happy, I ca'nt wait to see the TV Guide tommorow with William Peterson on the cover, he is so handsome !!!!!!!!!! One thing that bothered me at work today, no troll customers today either by the way, but my coworker Robert was sad.I knew something was wrong or something happened to him.I did'nt have time to ask him but I hope he is ok.He was'nt acting like himself, Leslie said he got into a big fight with his wife, Awwwwwwww poor Robert, wish I could have given him a hug, I hated seeing him sad today.Hope you all have a good weekend, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Hi friends, I meant to write a little bit about this in my journal earlier but my brain is just really sleepy.I was going to my much -needed lunch break earlier when I spotted a cell phone on the ground near the shopping carts of my store on the way to the Food Court, now as tired and hungry as I was I could have just not bothered picking it up and turning into Cheryl before going to lunch but I did because I figured somebody was probably missing it.I was heading to Panda Express when I heard a mother scolding her young son ( this kid must have been 11 or 12 ) for losing his cell phone.I tapped her on the shoulder and told her I had just seen one outside on the ground and had turned it into Cheryl, the mother turned to her son and told him to go get his phone, Did they thank me for turning the phone in ? No they just went about thier business L, makes me wonder what happened to good old fashioned manners when people thanked others for doing kind things.Oh well, tis the season , I guess for rude people, shrugs, at least all the people I know in J-land are kind and caring !!!!!!!!!!!!! Thursday Thoughts

Hi friends, I just got home from work and I am beat, lol.I woke up at 6:00 a.m. this morning to go into work at 7:45 a.m. Anthony was there looking great as always ,my store started off quiet but then throughout the day go chaotic, I spent most of the day at the register ringing people up and answering questions, Some of the customers amaze me, they come shopping say today is the start of thier Christmas shopping and act so surprised when I saw we are out of certain things, and then they bitch and moan to me about it like it's my damn fault, I will be sooooooooooo happy when Christmas is over, Man I am counting the days, two more, just two more, lol.I got Christmas cards in the mail tonight from Mandy and Heather, thank you guys sooooooo much !!!!!!!! I love getting cards in the mail, I also got a slip in my mailbox saying there is a package waiting for me at the Post Office, I think it's from my friend Diane, I hope Diane got her package from me this week, The second half of last week's Cirque Du Soleil CSI is on tonight at 9:00 tonight on CBS, I ca'nt wait to see the TV Guide tommorow with Gorgeous Sexy William Peterson on the cover, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

My Day Today

Hi friends, back to work I went today in the cold, I was really surprised, my store was'nt all that bad today, I should mention I was in Nordstrom and I was talking to my friend Eva that works in there.I had mentioned to her before how cute I thought Anthony was and she told me today she had seen him in the store yesterday and she thought he was cute too.She seemed like she might be trying to flirt with him which kind of annoyed me so I mentioned to her he had a girlfriend already.I saw her go in the wine department today but I guess Anthony was busy when she came in and he could'nt talk , lol. :) I am counting how many more days I am working until Christmas, tommorow , Friday and Saturday and it will all be over -Yea !!!!!!! I am off Christmas Eve-thank God !!!!!!!!! I ca'nt wait to give my gorgeous Anthony his present Saturday, I also plan on giving him a card with the same picture of me in the red dress that I mailed to you guys in your Christmas cards, lol. Tuesday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Tuesday.I enjoyed my day off today,  It was nice to sleep in a little bit this morning, I went to the Post Office this morning because yesterday in my mailbox there was a slip that said I had a package at the Post Office, I had ordered some Summer Sand lotion from Angie last week and that what was in the package, thanks so much Angie , the lotion smells soooooo good  !!!!! I also got Christmas cards in the mail from Angel , and a friend in the Bay Area and my friends in England.I went to go see the movie Charlotte's Web today with my mom, oh man I could not stop crying, what a sweet movie !!!!!!! I highly reccomend it to all of you.Tommorow will be back at work for me, but I missed Anthony today so it will be nice to see him again tommorow, it should be busy tommorow ,  as well as Thursday, Friday and the most Saturday, I am off Christmas Eve, I was thinking that it was a year ago tommorow I left to go to Mexico for Christmas, I had such fun there in Cabo San Lucas on the beautiful beaches.It is still really cold here , feels like the air in Alaska did, Hope you all have a great Wednesday, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

My Day Today

Hi friends, I worked today and my store was sooooooooo busy.I was feeling a little sick in the store today because the Mall Management turned the heat up once again, I was not a happy camper, plus as usual we were really short-staffed so that made things difficult.Yul won Survivor last night !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo-hoo I was soooooooo happy, he was on the cover of the San Mateo Daily Times and the San Mateo Daily Journal, he played the game so well.I got Christmas cards today from Barbara, Chrissie and Pam, thanks you guys so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am glad beyond words I am off work tommorow, I could dance I am so happy, I hope you all have a good Tuesday, How many more days are left until Christmas ? 6 I will be so happy when Christmas is over, I noticed today almost all the Christmas ornaments are gone, lol.Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO By the way I talked to one of my J-land Friends on the phone last night -Amy I enjoyed talking to you so much last night, :) Thanks for calling !!!!

Sunday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Sunday.I was supposed to go see Charlotte's Web with my mom today but I have been feeling lazy all day.From now until the 23'rd of December my store and the rest of the Hillsdale Mall wo'nt close until 11:00 p.m. I am sooooooo happy I did'nt have to work today, I really needed a rest today after yesterday, my sweet adorable Anthony wanted me to stay an extra two hours last night when I got off at 5:00 , I always have a hard time telling him "No" but last night I did'nt want to stay extra but I promised him this week one night I would for him. Besides right when I was punching out Leslie came in unexpectedly to work so I did'nt feel quite as guilty leaving.When I went home last night I started feeling guilty I did'nt stay for him, I will make it up to him somehow this week.Tonight is the Two -hour finale of Survivor, I want Yul to win, he is cool and he is from my town , San Mateo, lol.I was going to go work out , but I have no energy whatsoever, oh well.There is always tommorow, lol.Yeah right, like I will feel like it after work, well it can be relaxing sometimes though, really.It is supposed to be really cold tommorow morning here, ugh, have a good week everyone, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Crazy Saturday

Hi friends, today was another work day, OMG my store was such a zooooooooooooo today, I could'nt believe the lines in the back of my store, I swear they were never-ending.It was stressful and I started to feel claustrophobic at my register with the seas of people around me, utter and total chaos to say the least.Say some prayers for me next week at work, I will need them, lol.I amazingly did'nt have any troll customers today, only one woman got a little bitchy that had a return, she scoffs at me for having to fill out all the personal stuff on the reciept for the return , well hey do'nt return anything then if you do'nt like it- sheesh, anyhow I am off tommorow-thank the lord, I need a day off.I keep telling myself only 7 more days and then it will be over, or actually I might be working the day after Christmas -ugh I hate working that day, the returns and the stampeeds to get the 50 % off stuff.Actually right now at my store all the Christmas stuff is half-off now so hopefully by Dec 26'th we wo'nt have much left.I'm hoping anyway, I'm so mean, lol.I hope you all have a good Sunday tommorow, by the way today I got Christmas cards from Kelli, Shermeen, and Angie so thank you guys !!!!!!! Friday Thoughts

Hi friends,hope you all had a good Friday.I worked today and the store was'nt too busy.My sweet Anthony was there today, he wanted me to  stay an extra hour, of course I was'nt going to say "No" Here is a challenge for all of you who have a printer or a scanner, in the World Market newsletter for Winter there was a little section in there that showed a recent article honoring long time employees at various World Markets, it showed Virginia and Jane from my store and who was standing next to them with Robin and Robert but in the picture was my sweet Anthony looking so cute and handsome, I wonder if there is any way I can make that picture a little bigger, any suggestions ? By the way my co-worker Kafi really pissed me off today when he left me with a huge line at the end of his shift and  said 'Have Fun" I so wanted to deck his halls.  I got cards today from Gretchen and Jen, thanks so much you guys !!!!!!!!! There was a great picture of Jorja Fox with William Peterson in the TV Guide that came out today with Ugly Betty on the cover, of course I had to run and get it after work, lol.Whew am I tired, I might go soak in a bubble bath in a bit, hope you all have a good Saturday, wish me luck at work tommorow, I'm sure my day will be very busy and stressful, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Thursday

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Thursday. OMG my store was out of control busy today, it was really stressful and overwhelming.Ugh at one point I did'nt think my line would ever end.I hate it when it is that busy and I always get at least one person in my line who is impatient and in a big damn hurry which is even more stressful.I do'nt understand the customers who come into my store at Christmas time and claim they are such a big hurry when they are in my line. It can be irritating.Anyhow my sweet Anthony was off today and I really missed him, but he does deserve a day off, poor thing, he works harder then anybody else.I think he will be back tommorow which will be good, I got 23 emails for him today so he will be happy about that tommorow, I am working 11-5 tommorow, not too bad.Tonight is my favorite CSI from this season, the Cirque de Soleil episode, Wow I am soooooooooo excited it is on again tonight, Tommorow is Friday-Yea !!!!!!!!!!! Hi friends, hope you all had a good Wednesday.Today was a much better day for me then Monday was, the mall management office finally listened and turned our heat back down again so it was nice in the store again.The store was'nt even all that busy today I was relieved about that.When I came into work today Anthony was sitting in the break room.What a cool surprise, he was supposed to be off today but the president of World Market was supposed to come by today.Anthony asked me if I had any gum when I was in the break room, I was like 'Yeah sure" I had some Skittles gum in my purse, lol.I hope tommorow goes as well as today did, I am working 8 hours tommorow, so I hope everything goes ok.I am tired but I will be more tired tommorow, I ca'nt wait to see that great CSI again tommorow night, I think the rain is supposed to come back tommorow as well, I keep my rainboots handy and my umbrella, hope you all have a good Thursday, Love You All and Hugs Lisa

Another Day at the dentist

Hi friends, I hope all had a great day, Happy Birthday again Gretchen , hope you had a great day and there is a card coming for you .I got Christmas cards today from Linda, Lisa Arthur and Laura so thank you guys very much.I went back to the dentist today and he was taking X-rays of my teeth and noticed another small cavity so I just told him to fill it today so it would'nt get worse.Hopefully this will be the last time I have to go back there for a while.I went to the Post Office this morning to ship a few gifts , the line was'nt too bad today.I heard once the busiest day at the Post Office is December 15'th so that would be Friday.I'll be working anyway, lol.I will be working the next 4 days, I pray they go better for me then Monday did.I really hope when I go back to work tommorow the heat is turned down, I felt sick at work Monday and I know it was the heat in the store because I heard customers complaining about it as well.The only thing that will suck tommorow is that Anthony will be off :( I'll miss him like always when he is'nt there.I hope you all have a good Wednesday tommorow, for some reason I am craving chocolate chip cookies, lol.I think tommorow I will go to Bath and Body Works and buy a Pecan Passion Lip Gloss, I really love that scent !!!!! I guess everyone else does too, that one is always sold out in the lotion, I am going to use my two Pecan Passion lotions sparingly.I heard an awful rumor from one of my CSI friends Jen that Jorja Fox did'nt renew her contract for next year and William Peterson did'nt either.OMG No !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope so bad that is'nt true, I love my CSI and I live for Thursdays, by the way if any of you have'nt seen the Season Premire of CSI with the Cirque de Soleil show you have one more chance to see it on CBS this Thursday at 9:00 , I loved that episode !!!!!!!!!!!!! Monday Madness

Hi friends, OMG was it busy today in my store.I did'nt have a very good day today,my original register was'nt working right, I was trying to do a return for this girl and she was getting really peeved at me because it took 20 minutes for a manager to come to the back to approve the return for her.She exploded when Anthony came running finally and told him "She was never coming back again" So anyhow I was dying in the store today too because the Mall Management have turned our heat up all the way , I felt feverish all day and was sweating and my stomach felt a little nauseous as well.Speaking of nausea there have two outbreaks near me of the Noro-Virus which is the same virus that strikes some cruise-ships.One outbreak was at a Senior Duplex in Belmont and the other one today was reported at San Mateo General Hospital which is really close to my work.I hope so bad I do'nt get this virus, I do 'nt want it !!!!!!!!!!! Sunday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good weekend.Mine was ok , today was wet and icky out , but I still went out anyway. I went by Debbi's former house on the way home tonight and I saw a light on in her bedroom window, it made me really sad.The time I miss her the most is Christmas, it has almost been a year since she moved in January on the 14'th.It was nice to be off from work today since I am working 5 days this week including tommorow.I hope this week when Anthony gets the email results from last week we win this week, last week we were Second place which is ok , but I would love for us to win this week, lol. I was supposed to go back to the dentist Tuesday but by some miracle my tooth has'nt been bothering me lately but I'm glad.I need to go to the post office sometime this week and ship some presents, hope you all have a good week, I'll be working for most of it but I'm not complaining, lol.I love you all and Hugs Lisa XO

Saturday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Saturday.Wow was my store a zoo today not to mention the mall where I work as well, lol If any of you guys would like to see my store's website go to www.Worldmarket.com.I should'nt be surprised though, there are two weeks I think left until Christmas, tis the season for shopping, lol.I bought a present for Jackie tonight ;) wink.Something I know she will love.  Jackie I am going to email you later. Cyndie our district manager came by the store tonight but thank god it was a very short visit , but she was happy when Anthony told her about all the emails I have gotten this week, I got 24 emails for Anthony today woo-hoo !!!!!!  I passed my goal so this week you guys here is my grand total that I have gotten alone of emails ready ? 104 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah baby !!!!!! We have to win this week for getting the most , I mean come on there is no way another store could beat us.Anyhow man I am tired but happy. I think a nice bubble bath would be good tonight. I was going to work out tonight for an hour but I am way too tired for that. I got almost all my shopping done today, thank god.I feel better now that I got that done, I am off tommorow , yea, lol.I have some things I need to do.I hope you all have a good Sunday, I love you all and Hugs Lisa XO

Friday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Friday.I did, work went good today, I got 21 emails for Anthony today, so far that is 80 for the week excluding tommorow.Go me, lol. CSI was sooooooooooooo good last night, wow I looked up on the internet to see which episode would be on next Thursday and it is the first opening episode of this season with the Cirque de Solei show, OMG I loved that episode so much !!!!!!!!!!! I always hoped that episode would be on again. Too bad my piece of crap VCR is'nt working or I would so tape that episode !!!!!!!!!!Have you guys all been getting my cards, I hope so, I got a card from Emmi in the mail today, thank you Emmi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is wet and raining here, I am going to do a little Christmas shopping before work tommorow , use up my Bath and Body Works coupons , maybe getting a little something for Jackie ;) , Hope you all have a great weekend, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Thursday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Thursday.Mine was good.I worked a long day today , 8 hours, when I came into work today my sweet Anthony made a bet with me that if I got 40 emails or over that he would take me out to eat, OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Believe me I asked everybody if they had already signed up to get our coupons in thier emails, I ended up getting 27, not bad but not what I wanted.Maybe Anthony will over extend the bet until Saturday which is sure to be really busy.Hopefully he will, lol.I hope all of you guys are getting your cards from me, if you did'nt get them today there is a good chance you will get them tommorow, I felt sad today at work during my lunch break reading in my city's little newspaper www.smdailyjournal.com about James Kim, he died a hero trying to save his family.What a remarkable man he seemed like he was, I was so touched by the lengths he took to save his family.I only wish that my dad was that caring towards his own family.

Wednesday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you had a good Wednesday.Mine was good.This was my only day off this week so I went out and did some errands.My online friend Angie aka Canyonsun said tonight she already got my Christmas card and she is in Ohio, wow she got it fast !!!!!!!  I mailed them Monday morning at the post office.Hopefully all of you guys that did'nt get my cards today will get them tommorow,I just got home and heard on the news that James Kim , the father of the family that was missing in Oregon was found dead tonight, that is so sad :( I am sending prayers up for that family tonight.Back at work for me tommorow and there is a new CSI on tommorow night :) Tommorow is my long day at work this week so I will probably get lots of emails for Anthony tommorow, I love making him happy and I am glad that if I do get lots of emails each week it gets Cyndie our meanie district manager off his back.Yeah I admit it I have the hots for him , it's true :) Like you guys could'nt tell huh ? No More Taco Bell Ever and Now I'm Worried About Eating Green Onions

Hi friends, the report that lots of people got E-Coli for Taco Bell lately really scared me.I read this morning that the culprit of the source of E-Coli was green onions so when you guys go grocery shopping or go out to eat you may want to avoid getting green onions in your food.This news is upsetting, I love green onions and now when I hear they are the source of the E-Coli it does'nt make me want to eat them.I love Taco Bell , but when I was reading the message board about Taco Bell about how many people got sick from various locations of them it made me rethink about going there anytime soon.I try not not to eat much fast food much anymore, an occasional cheeseburger or chicken sandwich at Burger King and that's it.So please warn your friends and family about avoiding green onions for a while , I do'nt know if New Jersey just had a bad batch of onions or what sent to the Taco Bells but I am going to see what happens in the next few days, but in the meantime I am not going to eat any green onions ,Ok got this off my chest, I'll probably post again tonight, Have a good day everyone and do'nt eat any green onions, Love You All Lisa XO

Tuesday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Tuesday.I worked today and the store was'nt really all that busy, I got 15 emails for Anthony , not bad , but Friday and Saturday I will probably get more.Leslie was telling me about this really annoying lady at my register who was trying to ask her to give her a discount off everything she was buying,  and then when she was telling me about the lady she rolled up to my register, now if anybody was in need of signing up for our coupons it was definetely her.I did get her to sign up by the way, Anthony told me today when I was leaving how proud he was of me for getting so many emails last week, he said he told Cyndie about it and that we will probably win this week for getting the most last week, hope you all have a good Wednesday Be looking for my Christmas cards in the mail this week, they are on thier way to you, ,  glad I am off tommorow, that is my one day off this week besides Sunday, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Monday Thoughts

Hi friends, I did feel well enough to go to work today-yea !!!!!!!!!! I got 18 people to sign up for our emails today, not bad for a Monday.I am glad I am feeling better because I am working tommorow, Thursday , Friday and Saturday.I went to the post office this morning and got stamps for all the cards so your Christmas cards should be coming this week in the mail for you guys.I feel good that I got all the cards done last night, a friend bought me lemon chicken and fried rice for dinner , anyone want to help me eat it? Sunday

Hi friends, I am still feeling a little sick , had a huge headache all day but when I drank some Gatorade it poofed, I lay in bed and slept much of the day and sat and wrote out my Christmas cards , I got all 30 of them written out and I 'll be going to the post office tommorow morning to mail them to you guys, my sweet Anthony called when I was sleeping and wants me to come in tommorow from 11-4.I hope I am feeling up to it, I know if I saw him and that beautiful smile of his it would make me feel better for sure.I think one of the reasons he wants me to come in tommorow is because I rocked with the emails this week, I mean I got 70 for the whole week so I really hope our store wins this week for getting the most, I do'nt see how we would'nt, Anthony got alot of emails too, Hope you all have a good week and be looking for my cards in your mailboxes, Big Hugs and Love You All Lisa XO

Saturday Thoughts

Hi friends, I just got home from work, OMG what a zoo !!!!!!!! I got 31 people to sign up for our emails today  so far this week I got 70 people to sign up overall-yea me, lol. Anthony was really happy, and I 'm glad that I made him smile with that today because some idiot must have gone in both of the restrooms in the store today and brought thier own paper towels and flushed them, I thought we were over that crap happening, poor Anthony , that will be a nice hefty plumber bill. I ca'nt believe somebody would get thier kicks by flushing paper towels down toilets, but I am so sick of it happening in our store !!!!!!!! Thank you Missie for the card, I got it today, I am still sick and my voice is all messed up and scratchy , but I am off tommorow until Wednesday so hopefully I will be better by next Thursday, I stopped by Mc Donald's tonight and got a yummy fast food dinner , but swapped the soda for a chocolate milkshake, hope you all have a good Sunday, Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

OMG it's December 1'st

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Friday, Lisa Jo made my morning today when she told me there was a picture of Jorja Fox in the In Touch from last week so I rushed to Long's this morning to get it before the new magazines were put out today, Lisa Jo you are the best !!!!!!!!! And by the way Lisa Jo you predicted you would probably get sick within two weeks, my throat was scratchy this morning and my voice is fading away, I got sick before you, lol. Anyhow I went to work today and the store was sooooooooooo busy, wow I was busy all day and I ended up getting 25 emails -yea me, lol.I am working again tommorow and then off Sunday, yea, Anthony will be so happy when I tell him tommorow I got 25 emails, speaking of Anthony I got him a Christmas present today, His favorite movie ever is Napolian Dynamite so I got him a Napolian Dynamite talking keychain,  he will love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
