Monday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Monday.I enjoyed a day off today, went to Trader's Joes for some fruit and vegetables, did a 45 minute walk around the water, I wish you guys lived closer to me, I could use a work-out partner.I will be back at work tommorow, it will probably be a quiet day.It has been really quiet in my store lately which can make for a boring day.I am looking forward to summer, that is my favorite time of the year, I love summer.Mr Diva is napping on his little perch, he was having fun watching the squirrels earlier out the window, Have any of you read the book You On A Diet ? I want to read it, let me know if it is worth getting, I am trying to be good with my eating, every now and then I slip, I'm only human I guess, have a good Tuesday everyone, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Saturday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Saturday.Did you see that story about the freeway collaspe on the Aol homepage ??????? Where that happened is'nt too far away from me, maybe 30 minutes.Dang what a mess.Mr Red must be coming, I am getting weepy and crying over CSI episodes, a sure sign , lol.Last night I was watching the CSI episode Kiss Kiss Bye Bye and I hoped Lisa Jo was watching it too, that one had Faye Dunaway guest starring on there and I cried at the end.I went for a 45 minute walk today along this beautiful trail .It was windy but it felt good being outside in the fresh air.No big news to report , hope you all are doing well and having a good weekend, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO P.S. You Just Never Know

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Saturday.It's hot here and muggy.I heard last week about a hate crime that happened at a high school in Pacifica where I used to live.A couple of people had broken into Oceana high school , set the girl's locker room on fire, and had written swastikas and racial slurs all over the walls of the high school.This was big news as it happened almost a week to the Virginia Tech Shootings.Anyhow I was watching the news last night and the police had made two arrests and when I looked up to see who it was my jaw dropped.One of the people arrested was a 20 year old kid named Danny Walsh who my little brother used to be friends with.I have fond memories of them both playing together and taking them both to the beach to play.I have tons of photos of the two of them playing, yeah it was shocking.Danny was a quiet kid who seemed like he was never any trouble.I guess you never can tell sometimes.You can never guess how some people will turn out, I was raised to respect others and to not be judgemental .My mom is very open -minded and she taught me the same.My brother will no doubt be shocked when I tell him his former childhood friend is in jail, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Friday

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Friday.Last night was the third night in the row I did'nt sleep at all.Yup I woke up feeling like crap this morning wishing I did'nt have to work but I put some Visine in my eyes and toughed it out. When I went into work today the phantom paper towel flusher had hit our store again and flooded both restrooms, I could tell it was going to be a fun day. it was soooo boring in the store today, I was watching a father and daughter in the food court eating and felt my heart break as I watched them.They were eating lunch and talking and laughing together.It made me feel so sad inside.Anthony asked me earlier if I wanted to work tommorow but I had heard Cyndie was going to come by and Maureen wanted me to work for her, I said "No I have plans tommorow" There is no way in hell I want to spend my Saturday at the store with Cyndie coming by making me feel all stressed out.No thank you,On the way home I saw the drunk creep again but thank God he did'nt see me. When I was at work the maintenance guy came here and put a new refridgerator in my kitchen , Yea !!!!!!!!! I am so happy.OMG CSI was really good last night, I loved the Grissom and Sara conversation the most, lol.They are both so adorable together, my inspirations for the fan fiction, hope you all have a good weekend, it's hot here, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Thursday Thoughts

Hi friends, I hope you all had a good Thursday.I worked an 8 hour day today again not sleeping great last night, My gorgeous Anthony was there today and when I was in the breakroom he was on the phone and I overheard him telling someone he kept having nightmares last night , that he was in a car accident and the car in front of him flipped up in the air and landed on top of his car, my poor baby, wish I would have been there to comfort him last night when he woke up in a cold sweat, I got 14 emails for Anthony today, I bought him a drink at lunch too which made him smile. When I was at the register in back today I saw the drunk creep in the mall who stares at me but thankfully he did'nt  come in the store.I noticed this morning my damn refridgerator is conking out, the ice in my freezer had turned into a puddle last night and all the food is'nt cold, ugh always something, I will see Saturday if someone can bring a new one, I suspect it is old .Lisa Jo how is that CSI article in the TV Guide, I keep hearing rumors Jorja wo'nt be back for Season 8 but seriously why would CSI end with a cliffhanger if Jorja was'nt coming back and why would Jorja say in an interview a few weeks ago they were all coming back next season if she knew she was'nt, hmmmmmmm I think myself it's a publicity stunt to get more people to watch CSI, although I have no problem with that, lol.Hope you all have a good TGIF, It's been a long week, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Wednesday Thoughts

Hi friends, I hope you all had a good Wednesday.I barely slept last night from drinking some green tea late so I paid for that today, I felt like a train wreck at work today for my 8 hour shift, ok I have heard many crazy things in the news this week but I ca'nt get over Sheryl Crow saying for us all to use one square of toilet paper when we go to the bathroom, Sheryl, Come on !!!!!!!!! Are you freaking kidding me ???????????? I think she is beautiful and talented but man now I'm starting to think she is off her rocker a little bit.Anyhow I blew my diet again at lunch , I had a chicken sandwich at Burger King but with no mayo.No Coke either, I had water.I always feel sad when I get a chicken sandwich meal at BK, moderation of course but a few years ago a good friend of mine Patula was raped and murdered in a hotel room in San Francisco.I will never forget getting that phone call from her sister right before Christmas saying Patula was killed.The last meal we shared was a chicken sandwich meal at Burger King, she always came by my store and we had lunch together and shopped. She was a beautiful and awesome girl and I miss her so much .I always think Patula is with me when I have a chicken sandwich, tommorow I am working 8:45 to 5:15 again, but I will be home for CSI, a new CSI tommorow too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Searching For Petey and Con Artists Customers

Hi friends, thank you Terry Ann for the beautiful tag above.I went back to work today and Cheryl was off today -woo-hoo.Anyhow last time I had worked we had these adorable frog croaking keychains at my store and for me it was love at first sight.They were the cutest thing I ever saw and there were two of them and I had given them both names, the yellow one with splotches on him I named Petey and the cute green one I named Bert.I could'nt stop playing with them and I ended up buying Bert when I left that day.My mom saw Bert on my keys when I went to dinner with her this weekend and fell in love with him so I promised her I would buy Petey for her today, I searched the whole store for him but he was gone.I guess another customer had come into the store and had fallen in love with him.I am sorry I did'nt buy both Bert and Petey last week but hopefully we will get more of them in.Anyhow before I started work today Anthony had pinned up a form in the breakroom saying there was a con artist customer who was hitting stores around here trying to return stolen merchadise and trying to get cash in return and who did try to scam today but me, lol.The note had said that he would go up to the register and try to start a conversation and distract the person who was doing the return so he came up to me and instantly started babbling away about what a bad day he was having so far and this and that and then complimenting my necklace.He was trying to return 5 sets of bamboo blinds which was worth about $ 230 and when he handed me the reciept the top was torn off, hmmmmmmmmm , what I usually do with returns is always get Anthony's approval and when he came to my register he glanced at the guy's reciept and said he would need to approve the return in the office and walked away, the guy was starting to freak out when Anthony was still gone 10 minutes later and told me he had to be somewhere in 45 minutes, so Anthony came back 20 minutes later and said he called Corporate and they said he could'nt give the guy cash back only store credit , he was polite about it and just said he would try to return them at the store he had bought them at in the first place, good luck there buddy, probably every store in the area has a copy of the flyer pinned up in the breakroom, when the guy left I looked at Anthony and said "That was him huh, the guy that we had the notice about in the breakroom, Anthony nodded and said "Yeah it was" Wow what a day, hope you allhad a good one, I am working the rest of this week, Have a good Wednesday everyone, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO P.S. Rachael Ray you got some competition, lol

Hi friends, here is an awesome simple recipe I made for dinner tonight-  Turkey Club Wraps
One package of Butterball Roasted Sliced Turkey
A package of flour tortillas
A bunch of fresh cilantro
Some cherry vine tomatoes
2 diced avocados
A cup of fresh diced red onion
2 fresh limes
1 package of Oscar Mayer microwave bacon
One cup of shredded Monterey Jack Cheese

Cook up the bacon in the microwave and mix up everything else in a bowl and squeeze the limes over the diced onion, bacon, tomato, avocado and cilantro, turkey and cheese.Spoon up the ingredients in a flour tortilla and heat in the oven for 10 minutes and you got yourself a delicious 10 minute meal, Yummo !!!!!!!!!!

Found my Sweater

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Monday.I am happy to say I found my trenchcoat grey sweater my friend Monica gave me, I love that sweater and it does'nt make me too hot,I always wear it to work when I leave in the mornings. I had left it at the doctor's office Friday so I went by and picked it up and went to Mollie Stone's to get some food. I picked up alot of organic fruit and vegetables.I was off work today so it was nice, I got a few things done. I sent the letters off and a card to a friend that lives nearby.I have worked out 4 times so far this week, go me, lol.I might update my Grissom and Sara fan fiction later too, if you guys know anyone that would be interested in reading my fan fiction let me know, I love writing and it has always been something I really enjoy doing.Back to work for me tommorow, hopefully Cheryl wo'nt be there. Have a good Tuesday everyone, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

I Blew My Diet

Hi friends, not too much to write about tonight, I did chores and played around today on the internet and gabbed on the phone some today.I went to dinner with my mom tonight and blew my diet, We went to a mexican restaurant and I got one Coke and two enchilada's yeah I blew it but when I got home I worked out for half an hour so maybe all is not lost.I might update my fan -fiction later, hope you guys are enjoying it, my writing bug is free again, lol.Anyhow hope you all have a good week, ugh I hate Mondays, I still have'nt found my sweater, grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I am starting to think I left it somewhere, have a good week friends, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Saturday Thoughts

Hi friends, I hope you all had a good Saturday.I wrote some more letters today and put them in the box to go out and got some chores done.I was glad I did'nt have to work today because honestly I did'nt feel like going in.It was raining here and icky anyway.I hope those of you that are reading my new fan fiction journal enjoy it, I have taken writing classes for years and I love it. If there are any of you that would like the link to my fan fiction journal let me know and I'll email it to you.I went to the grocery store today to check out the new magazines and scanned them all to see there was anything telling for sure if Jorja Fox really was leaving CSI but there was nothing.No news is good news I guess .I lost my favorite grey sweater and I have no idea what or where I left it , dang it I love that sweater.I have been working out every day and trying to eat better, my doctor wants me to diet and exercise so that's what I'm trying to do.Mr Red will be arriving soon and that is why I am having food cravings, remember my obnoxious neighbors below who loved to have drunk partys?????? They moved out last weekend, can you say Yahoo ????? Good Friday

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Friday.I was off work today so I wrote out some more letters today, Leene, Margo and Emmi there will be  snail- mail coming for you guys soon, I met up with Debbi at 3:45 and we went to the Horse Races tonight where it was $ 1 dollar Friday which meant admission was a dollar, hot dogs were a dollar and there was $ 1 beer between 7 -8 p.m. and yeah I had my first beer ever tonight, it was a monumental day in history, yup Jorja you are right, beer is pretty tasty, it gave my belly a nice warming sensation, it was awesome hanging out with Debbi, she is a blast to be with, we had a fun time tonight and she will be getting a cell phone soon so we can talk on the phone more, woo-hoo, hope you all have a good weekend, I'm off tommorow , yea I'm glad I'm still pissed at Cheryl, I need a few days away from her, have a good Saturday everyone, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Here's the Scoop on my appt today

Hi friends, as you know I had the doctor's appt today, well she checked my blood pressure and it was really high so she was worried about that, I asked her for lab tests regarding my blood to check for diabetes and to check my thyroid and for PCOS  so I will be going back next week for those and will update when I know more ,I like my new doctor, she seems cool and more caring then my old doctor. I bought the new TV Guide today and I saw the Jorja article inside, until I hear something from CBS I wo'nt get all upset, Debbi and I are getting together tommorow-yea !!!! Hey Hey Hey It's Phycho Day !!!!!!!!!!

Hi friends, today was a frustrating day for me, I kept seeing people in the mall that I despise but first off I am soooooooo upset at what I keep hearing , rumors if you will that Jorja Fox wo'nt be back next Season on CSI, I just read an interview a couple of weeks ago from her and Jorja had stated in the interview that "They would all be back next Season including her so what the hell ????????? What could have happened to change that ????? I will be depressed until I hear otherwise.Somebody please wake me and tell me this is all just a bad dream !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so my day at work, I came in today and there was Cheryl again, ugh why me ????? I rang in the back part of the store much of the day with Virginia, she's cool .I did see Debbi around lunch and we had a nice visit and she wants to get together Friday, I need to see a friend, this week has been awful so far, so after lunch I was back at my register and I saw Rosalie out in the Food Court and her son too, for those of you who are new to my journal Rosalie was an older woman who befriended me last year and came by the store and paid me compliments and I thought she was a friend, boy did I think wrong !!!!!!!! She took Debbi aside a while back and told her vicious lies about me that were'nt true and made up a bunch of stuff about me to Debbi, well Debbi knew better and yelled at her and I ended that friendship fast with Rosalie, people who stab me in the back and are two-faced have no place in my life, I do'nt want people like that in my life so whenever I see Rosalie in the mall and she tries to stare at me I just ignore her , she used to treat me like trash when we were friends for that brief 5 months , when I called her she would say it was'nt a good time for her to talk but I was supposed to drop everything I was doing if she called me ???? Fuck that !!!!!!!!!!! Later on in the day when I was at my register I saw Phycho Bitch, the woman who likes to come in my store and make fun of me or make me look stupid in front of others at my register, she looked like a goth witch when I saw her-all dressed in black with her long black hair hanging down her back, funny thing is I was alone in the back today and I expected her to give me hell and harrass me like always but she just walked through and left -hmmmmmmmmm I was surprised.Tommorow is my doctor's appt, wish me luck and if you guys could send up a prayer for me I would appreciate it very much, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Tuesday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Tuesday.I had an ok day today at work,the first thing I saw when I went into work was Cheryl, ugh not soon after I punched in two people from Corporate showed up looking for Anthony, it turned out he was closing today so they both went to lunch until he came in.He was busy with them for much of the day so I did'nt get a chance to talk to him.I am dreading my doctor's appt Thursday, I hope I do'nt have diabetes, I do love sweets and when I have a bad day it is so easy to reach for a cookie or eat a candy bar to feel better.I grew up loving See's Candy and my grandma's homemade apple pies.Sugar was comforting to me, I have given up soda and on occasion will have one but not too often.I am starting to think I might have PCOS which is a disease that can effect your ovaries.I am going to ask my doctor Thursday if they can check me and see if I have it, I hope I do'nt but I think I might.Sigh............ always something, back to work for me tommorow, hopefully Anthony will be opening tommorow so I can talk to him, hope you all have a good Wednesday, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO P.S. Praying For a Friend

Hi friends, I am sad about the school shootings in Virginia and I ask you to pray for Leene a J-lander who some of you know because her sister is a student at that school, please keep Leene in your thoughts tonight and pray that her sister is ok.I was off work today so I did errands and wrote letters and tried to clean up this place a little bit.When I went to get the mail later there was a Jorja Fox screensaver that Angie had bid on me, Thank you so much Angie, I just love it !!!!!!! Feeling a little less funky

In a funk

Tiring Saturday

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Saturday.Today was my first day back at work in two weeks, Of course Anthony was'nt there today so that meant my bitchy asst manager Cheryl was there.I am pissed right now at Cheryl because she messed up my vacation pay that I had requested before I went to Vegas, I know that she was jealous I was going on vacation, but shit you know what is stopping her from taking a vacation ??????? Oh Cheryl just gets on my last nerve sometimes, I was feeling really tired at work and it was a very busy day.The rain outside was drawing people in, I am just exhausted right now, Anthony will be Tuesday and I am off until then so I am glad.I tried to post some of my pictures last night with the disk Longs put them on but I am clueless so I will have to snail-mail you guys pictures.Hope you all have a good Sunday, I could use a bubble bath and a William Petersen in my bed to snuggle with tonight, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Finally Pictures

Asking For Prayers For A Friend

Hi friends, I am asking you all if you could pray for my good friend Margo's mom who had an unexpected brain surgery this morning to remove a blood clot from her brain and major eye surgery too, her mom fell this morning on her way to the bathroom, Margo flew down last week to visit her family and she is very worried about her mom right now, I am hoping her mom will recover ok from the surgery and will be as strong as ever.Please keep Margo and her mom in your thoughts, I have known Margo for many years and she is a very wise and wonderful woman who I am proud to call my friend, thank you for your prayers for Margo and her mom, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

Thursday Thoughts

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Thursday.I was off work today so I went to Costco to do some shopping.I also mailed some bills and did a 45 minute work-out.Thanks for all of your tips , I do'nt think I do have a UTI but I do have to keep going pee alot during the day.I am going to have some bloodwork done on April 19'th to check for diabetes.I went to the liquor store earlier and bought almost all the new magazines for the new week, I only wish they had TV Guide there, Lisa Jo are there any CSI articles in the new TV Guide for next week ??????? Lol tommorow is my last day off and then Saturday I will be working 10 -5 .Rain is supposed to come back Saturday but we do need it, it has been a very warm winter , I am looking forward to summer myself, lol.There is a new CSI on tonight woo-hoo !!!!!!!!!!!! A Little Worried

Hi friends, just a short entry tonight.I have a doctor's appt scheduled for April 19'th .I have been noticing lately that I have to urinate alot, like very often.I am going to have some bloodwork taken to check for diabetes.I know I have some extra pounds I need to lose, when I peed earlier I noticed there was a little bit of blood in my urine, I wonder if that means something, hmmmmmm seems too soon for Mr Red to be here again, please keep me in your prayers, Thank you , I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XOXO

Tommorow's My Birthday -Woot Woot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi friends, hope you all had an ok Monday- Thank you to my sweet friend Donna for the birthday card today, I love getting snail-mail !!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be 31 tommorow, wow.I ca'nt believe it-I might go out to dinner tommorow with some friends and then mom wants to take me out too, maybe Friday or something.Tommorow also we will finally know who the father of little Danni-lynn is although I have a strong suspection the father is Larry Birkhead , I see a very big resemblance between him and Danni-lynn.I am worried about this precious little girl who has lost her mother and now everyone is fighting over her.I just pray she gets a normal life and a stable upbringing.I called work earlier to find out my schedule this week and I will be back Saturday again, I thought at least Thursday  or Friday, maybe I can call Anthony tommorow and have him give me more hours this week, Seriously if you guys have'nt heard that new Air cd yet called Pocket Symphony go buy it or go to Amazon .com and listen to some clips from it, this cd is wonderful !!!!!!!!!! Easter

Hi friends,  Thank You to Jenny for the beautiful tag above, hope you all had a good Easter.Mine was good, just had a quiet dinner with my mom and brother.I still have to clean up my bedroom, it's a huge mess with my suitcase in between my bed , I am off work tommorow -woo-hoo it will be nice to be off work on a Monday because as you all know I hate Mondays, lol.I have been ok this week watching what I eat, swapping green and white tea for soda, salads are delicious too I've found out, I will go to work-out tommorow for a while, catch up on my reading too, lol.I am craving Mc Donald's tonight, thier new bacon double cheeseburgers are so good, but I'm trying to be good and not go there except for once a month.I am also addicted to thier Apple pies, OMG they are soooooo good !!!!!!!!! Is It Possible to be addicted to a CD ?

Ok you guys I know I keep going on and on about this new CD I bought by the band Air but trust me on this -This CD is the most amazing one I have ever heard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have always loved this band and I believe that this new CD they have called Pocket Symphony is thier finest work ever !!!!!!!! I cannot stop listening to this CD and when I do the songs follow me throughout the day, if you do'nt believe me go to www.amazon.com and type in Air - Pocket Symphony and listen to some of the clips from the CD, do'nt say I did'nt warn you, lol.There are a couple of songs that I especially love on this CD - the first one Space Maker, the 5'th one Mayfair Song, 7 #  Photograph and 8 #  Mer Du Japon are awesome and # 11 RedHead Girl made me instantly think of Lisa Jo's beautiful Megan, by the way if any of you have trouble sleeping pop this CD in and you will alsleep in no time, it's very soothing and will make your stress slip away, by the way the cover of the album picture is the picture above, Trust me on this you guys !!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi friends, for those of you who are CSI fans or who have gotten hooked on the show this year I am happy to report Jorja Fox will be back next season as well as the rest of the gang from CSI.I was stressing big time recently because I had heard everyone but Jorja had signed thier contracts for next season but on one of Jorja's fansites she confirmed that she will be back !!!!!!!! I'm so happy, CSI would'nt be the same without Jorja, she is my favorite character on there.Just wanted to spread the good news, Love You All Lisa XO

Back From Vegas and soon to be 31

Hi friends, I came home from Vegas tonight, I had a wonderful time on my vacation, took tons of pictures for you guys, I did'nt see William Petersen or Jorja Fox although I looked everywhere with my digital camera loaded up for them, the weather was perfect there, not too hot.We stayed at the New York, New York, it is a beautiful hotel !!!!!!! I was excited to walk around the Vegas strip again, we saw all the hotels on the strip, MGM, Paris, The Mirage,Bellagio,Venecian , The Wynn,   I love the lights at night, I wish you guys could have gone with me there, you all would have had a blast, I will be 31 on April 10'th , wow I ca'nt believe it, I am not sure what I am doing on my birthday yet but I asked for the day off from work, I miss Anthony and my co-workers but Wednesday I will be back at work, I got alot of exercise walking around in Vegas, hopefully I lost some weight, the first night I went to Vegas we ate at an amazing chinese restaurant inside New York , New York called Chin Chin's, oh the food is amazing, you guys have to eat there if you are ever in Las Vegas, I have gotten caught up on your journals, wow guys write alot, I missed you all, it's good to be home, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO P.S. By the way the new CD I bought before my trip Pocket Symphony by Air is amazing !!!!!!! I highly reccomend it to you guys, Go get it and tell me what you think !!!!!!!!!!!!
