Hi friends, I just love that picture above, Sooooooo cute, hope you all had a good Tuesday, mine was ok, quite a boring day at work, but still a good one.I saw dad again last night after work with my brother, he seemed to be in good spirits considering how sick he is, I brought him some pictures including the picture of me holding my prized autographed picture of Jorja, he was impressed she wrote to me, but Jorja is full of awesomeness as any fan of hers knows and dad and I and my brother had a pretty nice visit.On the way home though my brother's car broke down on a busy freeway at 9:30 p.m. at night, wow that totally sucked because it was really cold out and I had to pee so bad, but the guy was nice that came to tow his car and dropped us off in a better area of San Bruno then where his car broke down, he had it fixed today and it was $ 300 but at least now it runs again.I'm still mad at TNT for changing thier 11:00 Cold Case timeslot, I used to look forward to Cold Case nights on TNT, there are 2 episodes on tonight and tommorow at 4 and 5:00 a.m on TNT, I may get up tonight for one of them, what the hell, lol.I would like to say a huge " Thank You" to Emmi for the awesome birthday card that came yesterday and also to Amy for so kindly bidding on a Cold Case DVD for me on Ebay and also for the wonderful pictures of the boys and the cats that came today, thanks so much Amy !!!!!!!!!! Hi friends, hope you all are having a good weekend, mine is going ok.It's a beautiful warm day out , I've been doing alot of thinking this weekend, my dad is still not doing well and is starting to have symptoms from the cancer, Thank you for all of your prayers and well -wishes, they have meant the world to me, I could'nt help but think when I read Mary's entry in her journal yesterday I would be writing a similar entry like that soon too, Mary you are in my thoughts today, praying for your family, I may go see him again tommorow after work with my brother, I noticed TNT changed the time slot for Cold Case for now until May 8'th, now instead of it being on Tues , Wed and Thurs night at 11:00 p.m., it seems like the new time slot is 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. , I may have to get up once or twice this coming week at 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. and watch a couple of episodes, some of the ones on this week I have never seen, Although last night on CBS at 8 and last Saturday night too Cold Case was on at 8:00 p.m. on CBS and as far as I know it still airs on Sundays too at 9:00 p.m. on CBS, one of the ducks below had babies and they are so cute,hope you all have a good Sunday, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, sorry I have'nt been around much, life keeps getting in the way.I saw some friends from my old neighborhood last night, it was nice catching up and seeing them again.I had an almost chance to meet my idol Jorja Fox May 3'rd at a place called Animal Acres near Los Angeles where she was going to be attending a benefit to help animals , but my friend Debbi who offered to take me could'nt get the time off work and I am going away for 3 days May 5'th so that would have been cutting it really close.I'm disappointed , but I'll live.Last night when I got home my brother was waiting, doctors have given my dad up to a month to live, they even said it could be two weeks.I guess soon I will recieve that dreaded phone call in the middle of the night, I will cringe from now on whenever the phone rings, this is so unreal, if you can send up some prayers for my family, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, I just got home a short while ago and am exhausted but the visit tonight went pretty well.My brother picked me up after a boring and uneventful day at work.I felt a little nervous on the ride there, when I saw my dad it was shocking to see how much weight he had lost.His skin also had a yellowish tint, think it was jaundice from his liver being so sick.We talked and it was ok, he told me that this Thursday he goes in for another doctor's appt, I myself though judging from his appearance tonight do'nt think he has much time left, maybe a couple of months, but then again, it's hard to say.I made my peace with him and I feel good about that.I feel free knowing that I did the right thing and he knows I have forgiven him , I hope you all have a good hump day, back to work for me tommorow, thanks for all your prayers and well -wishes, I felt them today, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, hope you all had a good day considering it is an icky Monday, my day was'nt too bad, a little boring, I became a hero for the day when I found this lady's cell phone she left at my register, she was so happy I found it and did'nt even know she had left it earlier at my register, she hugged me and told Robin what a great employee I was, Robin smiled, guess it was nice for her to hear good compliments instead of complaints, Tommorow after work my brother will be picking me up and I will be going to see my dad, I am feeling a little nervous so if you all could say a little prayer for me, I would really appreciate it alot, I have'nt seen him in almost 5 years, it will be emotional no doubt and a little ackward too, but hopefully everything will go ok.Hope you all have a good Tuesday , Oh and good news for all you night owls, this week starting tonight at 4:00a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on TNT , 2 Cold Case episodes will be airing tonight , tommorow night and Thursday on TNT at 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. , little too late for me, Damn it anyhow , but great shows on tonight, I've seen them both, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hope you all had a good Sunday, mine was pretty uneventful.I just went grocery shopping and mailed a few things off.I would like to ask you all to go to the Call for Support journal and leave some kind words for my sweet friend Michelle aka (Momiscool2) - she is having a hard time right now and she could use some love and care, send her Lisa41076 sent you. I am feeling nervous about seeing my dad again Tuesday, I was reading a Chicken Soup For The Cat Lover's Soul book today and started crying, my brother told me my dad is on morphine so his time left may be very limited.I'm hoping when I go over there Tuesday night his new wife who he is remarried to Kathy does'nt make her snide or rude remarks to me like saying "Where have you been all this time?, or "It's about time you remembered your father" I do'nt care much for Kathy, she is rude, thoughtless, nosy, says whatever she feels like saying without a second thought to anyone's feelings,She always made me feel like I was'nt good enough, I suspect that she is a gold digger too , I have always sensed that about her.Anyhow I will let you all know how it goes Tuesday, I hope you all have a good upcoming week, back to work for me tommorow, Tues and Wed, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, hope you all had a good Saturday, Mine was pretty good, I was disappointed at the street fair today, it was more paintings and wall art then arts and crafts. Still fun though , nevertheless, When I got home there was a tan envelope waiting on the table in the lobby addressed to me from Angie and there was a beautiful picture of Jorja inside, thanks so much Angie, I was surprised the mailman that is filling in for my nice regular lady just left the envelope on the table in the lobby where anybody could have walked by and swiped it but wow he was sure a prick to me yesterday when I asked him a question, My brother talked to my dad on the phone yesterday and said he was crying, he also said my dad wants to see me so this coming Tuesday after work I am going over for a visit with my brother, I am feeling a little nervous so if you all could say a little prayer for me Tuesday I would appreciate it very much, Lisa Jo around 8 :00 p.m. on CBS tonight I discovered Cold Case was on, It is never on CBS Saturday nights, I hope you saw that too, I have no idea where my TV Guide is for this week or I would have told you and Chrissie to watch tonight, damn it :( Anyhow wishing you all a wonderful Sunday, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
