Hi friends, Thank you to Chris for Cab's Creations for the cute tag above.I hope you all are having a good weekend.I am enjoying my time off .Missie you will be pleased to know that your beautiful Lilly is my new computer desktop.She is such a beautiful kitty and when my brother was here a few weeks ago fixing my computer he messed up my Grissom and Sara desktop somehow so now Missie's beautiful new cat Lilly is my new desktop picture, I am looking foward to New Year's and I am also ready to bid "Goodbye" to 2007.It was a ok year in my opinion.The hardest parts were Jorja leaving CSI and Anthony leaving World Market.But I got through both of those hurdles even though I miss Jorja like crazy on C.S.I., She will always be my favorite actress.I fully embraced a new favorite show with a great cast, Cold Case which is on Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m.on CBS and also on Saturday nights on CW at 11:00 p.m.and sometimes on weeknights at 11:00 p.m. on TNT.and I also really like my new manager at World Market Greg alot too.I think I need a new computer mouse because this one I have is not working that well.I have met some wonderful new friends this year and I am grateful to know all of you , my J- Land friends and family too.I care about all of you very much .I wish you all a beautiful "2008" with many blessings, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, Thank you to Donna from D's Designs for the pretty tag above, hope you all had a good Friday.There are more details coming out about the tiger attack at the S.F. Zoo and it sounds to me like the 3 teens taunted the tiger before she got loose.They were rocks and sticks found inside her moat and evidence of a shoeprint outside as well.Also one thing I heard today that was disturbing was the two teens that are in the hospital refused to cooperate with police when they were questioned , sounds like guilt to me.It has been really cold here today, in the 40's.There is more rain coming tommorow too.Alot of my friends are away right now on vacation or visiting relatives and I am missing them big time.I go back to work on Wednesday January 2'nd so I will enjoy my time off until then.I went to the dentist today to get my cavity filled so I am glad I got that taken care of.I really hate going to the dentist.I hope you all have a good upcoming weekend.Donna I miss talking to you so much, I hope you will be online soon so we can have an IM chat, Angie I hope you are having a great time in Florida, I miss you alot but I hope you are having a great vacation, Margo I miss talking to you very much too and Emmi you are missed very much too . Hi friends, hope you all had a good Thursday.Mine was'nt too bad.I woke up early to head out to Bath and Body Works for thier twice a year huge sale.I bought tons of gardenia body washes and lots of bubble baths.No lotions because Angie ( Canyonsun) makes the best body butters in the world. I also went to Barnes and Noble because my brother did'nt like the Sopranos book I bought him, he told me to return it so I did.I looked around to see if there were any boxed sets of Cold Case but there were'nt.Maybe it is not out on DVD yet but it seems like a popular show.I would like to wish my sweet and very handsome friend Phil a very "Happy Birthday" tommorow.Phil is one of my two male readers in my journal.My other one being the very talented and kind -hearted artist Russ of Inner and Outer Demons . Phil has been a great friend to me for quite a while.He is such a kind and caring guy with a huge heart.I wish him a wonderful birthday tommorow.I think CSI is a repeat tonight so I will watch but the show will never be the same for me without Jorja.She is an amazing actress and a good human being in true life.I miss her greatly on C.S.I. but if she is happy taking a little break that is ok with me.It looks like rain here right now and I hope tommorow is a clear day, I am finally getting my tooth with the cavity filled - Not that I am happy about going to the dentist but I do'nt like putting stuff like that off .Have a good Friday everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, I have some sad news to share with you all.I read in Missie's journal earlier that Kim who has the online journal http://journals.aol.com/demandnlilchit/Ishavedmylegsforthis/ only had 3 weeks left to live but then tonight Kim passed away tonight with her loved ones by her side.I did'nt know Kim that well but I heard wonderful things about her.I know some of you like Jackie and Chris knew Kim really well and I hate having to tell her closest friends such sad news .I can only offer all of Kim's friends cyber hugs to comfort them and am sending up prayers for Kim's family and loved ones .I Love You All So Much and again sorry to have to tell you all such sad news.Cyber hugs to you all ((((((((((((((( Kim's friends )))))))))))))) Love Lisa XOXOXOXO
Hi friends, I am loving my time off from work.I was saddened yesterday to hear about the tiger getting loose at the S.F. Zoo. I have been to that zoo many times before.I am puzzled as to how the tiger got out.I enjoyed the Cold Case marathon yesterday, there were some episodes on TNT that I had never seen.I really admire the lead character on Cold Case, Lily Rush, she is a strong woman but she is also compassionate and caring.She reminds me alot of me in some ways.I still feel that Jorja's character Sara on CSI was like my twin, she reminded me so much of myself, the strength but yet the vulnerability.The insecurity but yet at times Sara always cared deeply about the crime victims and got personally involved.I was thinking back last night about a comment a former neighbor told me once , my neighbor Larry who was a policeman used to live across the street from me in Pacifica, he was talking to me once and he said that out of all three of my mom's kids I was the best -looking.I remember my mouth dropped .Me ???????? That was quite flattering I guess but my brothers are pretty good -looking I have always thought.Another neighbor Kathy who used to live across the street from me too and she has two daughters, one of them Katie had William's Syndrome.She was such a sweet girl and I loved baby-sitting her.Kathy told me once she wished Katie looked like me.I was'nt sure how to respond to that.I loved Katie the way she was.Her facial features were pretty to me.Of course my dad never did me any favors growing up and made fun of my Italian nose and I grew up feeling like the ugliest kid on earth.I wish I had a scanner, I was looking at some of my childhood pictures the other day.I noticed in alot of them when I was two I did'nt smile much.Did I sense my parents were unhappy together at such a young age ? Anthony turned 27 today, I hope he had a great birthday, I'm going to hit Bath and Body Works early tommorow for thier big sale, I love the bubble baths they have there but I never buy the lotions there because Angie 's ( Canyonsun) lotions and body butters are way better then any at any store !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi friends, The Cold Case marathon on TNT is a commercial now so I'm typing up a quick entry.Emmi and Chrissie surprised me with phone calls today, that was really nice. My mom and brother also came over for a while, that was nice too.For the last few hours I have been feeling weepy thinking of Anthony , my long lost brother.His 27'th birthday is tommorow, when mom brought him home he was in a red stocking.He had blond hair and big brown eyes.He was beautiful, my first sibling.When we were little I could make him laugh harder then anyone.He was a quiet kid but there was alot going on inside.My dad was hard on Anthony and he cried alot being a sensitive kid.I hated my dad for being such a jack-ass to my brother picking on him for his height or his acne. My dad also went after me taunting me for my A.D.D or my being a klutz.My dad was such a relentless creep.I ca'nt believe my brother has a baby now, the baby looks alot like him.I ca'nt look at the photo too hard because it makes me cry.Happy 27'th Birthday Anthony, I hope you have a good day, I'll be thinking of you tommorow, I hope you all had a good Christmas,Cold Case is back on, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, Merry Christmas to you all, I met my mom and brother and Uncle for dinner tonight, we all had a nice time, my Uncle went out to the car a minute and pulled out a red and white card that had a photo inside of Anthony, my brother who hates me and does'nt talk to me or Derek, my younger brothre or my mom.He moved to Georgia 3 years ago, never gave us an address or phone number, just moved on and left us, his family behind without looking back.Anthony has a 2 month year old son who was in the picture , so I guess I am an aunt now and my brother is an uncle and my mom is a grandma

Hi friends, Thank you to Donna from D's Designs for the cute tag above.I went out this morning to Safeway and bought the last two gifts I needed , for my Uncle a Cheesecake Factory gift card and for my mom a gift card from California Pizza Kitchen..I am still puzzled as to who sent me the butterfly paperweights.There was no return address on the package or anything.They are so delicate and pretty.I love them , a friend suggested maybe it was Jorja.It could have been.She is very nice and down to earth and very unlike most celebs in Hollywood.If the butterflies were from an anoymous J- Lander I thank you so much.It is really cold here 40 degrees, Brrrrrrrrr , hope you all have a good Sunday.I am so grateful to be off work this weekend, today was actually the busiest shopping day of the year VS The Day after Thanksgiving.You wo'nt catch me near any mall today, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, I survived today at work, it was a good day, not that busy, no trolls, Cyndie made a very brief appearance but thank God it was brief, a whole day of her would have been lousy .I did hear her say she would be at the store Sunday, gee what a nice early present for the newbies- Not !!!!!!!!! Our restrooms were still out of order today, Sigh maybe I am stupid but before I left for work I did'nt take my blood pressure pill for the day, I should have I know, just popped it now in fact in my mouth but I had a feeling our restrooms still would'nt be working today and yup.I got a package in the mail tonight along with 2 cards , one from my friend Ted and one from lovely Linda in Scotland.Now the weird thing about the package, inside were 2 beautiful butterfly paperweights, I love butterflies as you all know but I do'nt know who sent me the package, there was no return address, weird huh ????????? I hope you all have a great weekend, I just have two more easy presents to buy and then I'm done, I survived another year working retail, yea !!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi friends, I did'nt think I would be able to get online again for a long time this morning.I turned the computer on and kept getting the blank screen, restarted it 6 times, at that point a half hour had passed and whatever little patience I had was gone,Forget it I needed to get ready for work, I arrived at work on time as always, it was really busy , I went to Register 9 in the back and was pretty busy from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, Oh man I was really upset because the person who comes in our store and flushes maxi-pads down the toilets in both Men's and Women's bathrooms returned not only today but Tuesday too.Damn it anyway what the fuck ????????????? I am so sick of this happening , twice this week so far , why our store ????? I was so not pleased , I had to keep going out into the mall all the way down by Burger King to pee 8 times today because of my blood pressure pills.The thing that also upset was right before the person came and flooded both of our bathrooms this man had just come and made them nice and clean and then 30 minutes later they were Out of Order, I will like to personally strangle whoever this person is that comes into my store and floods our restrooms.I hate sharing our restrooms with the public for this reason, Oh and Cyndie was there today too giving her one of her hard -ass looks in the back, Why ca'nt she just go away ?????????? Pray for me I make it through tommorow, I barely survived today, let it all be over please, makes me think of a song I used to hear on one of my brother's favorite shows when he was little "I am slowly going crazy, 1, 2, 3, 4. 5 , 6, Switch, Slowly going crazy am I, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, switch, ugh, help me God, one more day of hell tommorow, will I make it ? Hi friends, Thank you to Emmi for the precious tag above, I am so tired from today.I worked 7 and a half hours and it was just non -stop in my store from the minute I walked in the door to the moment I left. I was in the front of the store today which I was'nt very happy about but I made it through.Sometimes there were so many people in my line in the front of the store I could barely get away to take a break or to use the restroom because the blood pressure pills I take make me have to pee like 10 times a day.I had to have Robin our pretty asst manager who looks like Jennifer Love Hewitt come to my register twice in the day and pull $ 600 from my till .Whenever my till excedes $ 600 it says Call the manager on my screen and they come and do a cash pull for me.I was so happy to leave tonight because I am just exhausted.I saw some Christmas cards on a rack when I was leaving that looked just like Mr Diva on the front of the card, of course I had to buy two of them.Tommorow night on CBS is the CSI episodes Living Doll again at 8:00 p.m. and Dead Doll will be on at 9:00 p.m. , I may watch them again although now that Jorja is'nt on the show anymore it is hard for me to watch it.I miss her so much and I always will.I hope she got my present ok , I know she will love it, I just wish I could have seen her face when she opened it.I hope you all have a good Thursday, wish me another troll - free day tommorow please, all those prayers are helping, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, thank you to Emmi for the oh so cute tag above.I worked again today and would you believe it ?????? , no trolls , keep those prayers coming please, this one man I waited on today was so sweet to me I almost cried, he took my hand and kissed it at the end of the transaction and said "Whatever they are paying you is not enough" How sweet was that ??????? Hi friends, hope you all had a good weekend.I enjoyed those days off very much but I am dreading going to work this week.Please pray for me that I do'nt have too many trolls in my line this week, I really do'nt cope well with mean people, It's all I can do to keep from crying and running away when I encounter such a person, if you are nice to me and treat me well there is nothing I would'nt do for you , I would give you the shirt off my back without thinking twice, but mean people just want me want to cry and I just try to hold my head up high and not let them bother me, but they really do.I was raised in an abusive home and my dad hit me and treated me like garbage pretty much all my life, calling me horrible names and making fun of me but I did'nt turn out mean or hating the world and wishing mean thoughts on others.Anyhow I just hope I make it through my last week before Christmas, I'm really nervous , I have to talk myself out of bed some days before I go into work during Christmas season and say a prayer for there not to be any trolls in my line.I hope you all have a good upcoming week, I love you all very much and thank you for being my friend and for all of your kind comments to me.I believe a little kindness makes the world a better place, too bad the trolls ca'nt find any kindness in thier hearts, do trolls have hearts ??????? Hi friends, hope you all had a good Thursday, I survived another day at work but when I went to the back the queen of all trolls Cyndie was there dressed in black as usual looking like a goth smurf, I ignored her and thankfully she did'nt stay too long which is always a plus in my book.I was pretty lucky today, just one troll , I was ringing in back all by myself and as always a huge line of 10 people formed, I did my best to keep the line moving fast but when my back up cashier came back there the troll went into Kafi's line and said to him "I always manage to get in the wrong line" I turned around and gave her one of my "Fuck you " looks and continued to ring up the next person.The rest of the day was'nt too bad.I would like to thank Lisa ( Seraphoflove) and Gretchen for the beautiful cards that came in the mail today, also tommorow I would like to wish my very sweet and awesome friend Chrissie a very " Happy Birthday", Chrissie, I love you and adore you and thank you for being such a wonderful friend to me, hope you have a wonderful birthday tommorow I hope you all have a great friday and a relaxing weekend, I Love You All So Much Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, I had a huge scare this morning, my brother had come over last night and decided to clean my computer when I was sleeping.When I went to turn it on this morning I got a blank screen and could'nt even get online - I stomped to the spare bedroom and yelled and cussed at him "What the F*** did you do to my computer?" I asked him using language I do'nt normally use but I was pissed as hell, I ca'nt afford to get a new computer and I thought he had erased all my pictures and tags and all my saved journals and everything from my hard drive.He went out to my computer, messed with it for a few minutes and then all the icons appeared on the screen, I apologized to him and he went back to bed where he has been all day.I had my computer crash back when I lived in Pacifica and it was a nightmare, me and a friend had to stay up for 2 straight nights fixing it, Well the good news is that my computer is ok and so now I can continue to be a part of the J- Land family, there is a new episode of Cold Case on CBS tonight at 9:00 p.m., I love that show, the lead character on there who plays Lily Rush is awesome, 
Hi friends, hope you all had a good Saturday.I talked to Angie on the phone this morning which was awesome.I also did something I 've been needing to do before next week, I went to the Post Office to mail some gifts, I did get Jorja a present too because I miss her and I want her to know that her fans still care about her, I saw this adorable ornament in my store that was a surfboard with a glitter turquoise palm tree on it, I knew I had to get it for her so I did, I bought her a card to go with the ornament and wrote it out last night.I also made sure I wrote " Fragile" on her package, I have been running around all day, went grocery shopping, went to the bank, mailed off my last Christmas card, avoided Hillsdale Mall like the plague, lol.I was disappointed when I went to get the mail today, no cards :( I love getting snail -mail so much and I love getting all of your cards in the mail.They make me smile.I hope you all have a great Sunday, tommorow I might go check out the new movie The Golden Compass, Have any of you seen it ???????? Hi friends, thank you to Emmi for the very pretty tag above.Today was my dentist appt, I had to have my mouth numbed for a dreaded X-ray and yes I do have a small cavity.I have an appt for the 28'th of this month to have it filled.
