Hi friends, I woke up this morning and my throat is worse and I really do'nt feel like going in today so I called in sick a little while ago. Anthony was trying to make me feel guilty by telling me yesterday how short -staffed we were.I do'nt think I could last 7 hours today, It frustrates me Anthony changes the schedule and then expects me to drop everything and come in, Anyhow hope you all have a good Thursday, enjoy CSI tonight, I Love You All and Hugs Lisa XO

I'm Not Going In Today
Hi friends, I woke up this morning and my throat is worse and I really do'nt feel like going in today so I called in sick a little while ago. You did the right thing & for Anthony to try & make you feel guilty, shame on him. It's not your fault that you sick & if the store is short staffed ... he has no one to blame but himself. Emmi

I especially hate it when supervisors make you feel guilty because you can't come in as you are sick! That pisses me off beyond belief!

Well Lisa, he depends upon his workers to come in when he needs them, that is retail. Put yourself in his position. It seems like everytime he asks you to come in on a non scheduled shift you find a reason not to. I am not saying this to be mean, but if I were your boss I wouldn't be able to count on you. I know you don't feel well but all of us have to go into work when we feel sick and if Anthony was trying to make you feel guilty, well maybe the next time you ask him for something he may be reluctant. Anyway, get better soon, take care cutie.

i TOTALLY disagree with Phil.
if you are not scheduled, you are not required to go in and work. PERIOD. Sounds to me like someone at your job can not adequately figure out how to make out a schedule. Good for you for not going in if you do not feel well.
