Next to last entry

 Hi friends , hope you all had a good Friday.I worked today and it was super busy.I was busy all 8 hours I was there.I found a new CSI promo online yesterday, Oh man I am going to be such a wreck on Sept 27'th watching Sara getting rescued, I wish I could have one of you come over and hold me during and after the show,I am going to be a crying, weeping,  mess,  here is the link if any of you want to watch the promo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvaNAIBuYfU I want to thank Angie for the letter I recieved in the mail today, I love getting snail-mail, thank you so much Angie for taking the time to write to me , I owe you a letter, there was this lady in my store who was so rude to me today, she needed help over in the collectables section and instead of asking me she was waving over at me, annoyed I came over and she wanted these two fung shui keychains that were on this hook, she told me she could'nt get them off the hook, so I picked up some items she had dropped on the floor really quickly first and she goes "Are you going to help me or am I going to have to get these off here myself" Wow what a rude bitch, I took the items off the hook and handed them both to her and threw the empty hook back down and went back to my register to ring the people up that were standing there, I think when I am in Vegas next week there will be a heatwave during my visit, Jackie I will getting a taste of the heat next week, Monday is supposed to be 107 degrees, whew !!!!!!!!!! I am sad CSI wo'nt be filming there next week, sigh ............ I have always hoped they would be there once when I was there, hope you all have a great weekend, there is a great CSI episode on Sunday night at 5:00 p.m. on Spike TV called Gumdrops.For those of you who have never seen CSI, this episode is one of the best ones I have ever seen  , it stays with you after you watch it and you can never forget it, and the message in the episode is very you Jackie , there is an adorable little girl who is missing  and she leaves pieces of her gum behind as clues where she has been and Nick never gives up hope that she is alive, no matter what.She narrates the episode and when you see the photos of her in her house all you think is that you hope sheis found. By the way too the producers trick you at the end so do'nt start crying too hard , you'll see what I mean,the ending is very sweet and always makes me cry. I love how Nick never gives up hope finding her.Chrissie I will be so curious to hear what you think of this episode after you see it, maybe if you could just write me a brief paragraph telling me your thoughts about it after you see it, I'll be curious, lol. Donna I think you would enjoy this episode too and you too Cindy, lol.I wo'nt turn off my alerts next week so please keep continuing to write and I'll be back next weekend to answer your emails and comment in your journals.I'll write a final entry tommorow before I leave Sunday, I Love You All So Much Lisa XOXO

Thank God Tommorow Is Friday

  Hi friends, hope you all had a good Thursday.It's still hot here , 77 degrees out now , Jackie, Angie and Lisa there will be snail-mail being sent out for you all tommorow, Jackie your letter is rather thick because there were some Grey's Anatomy's articles I put in for you so I need to have them weigh it at the post office, I worked today 9 - 5 , it was a pretty boring day to say the least, I bought Anthony an iced tea at lunch and he was happy, I told him I was'nt going to be at work next week this morning because he had asked me this morning why I needed next week off and I told him.He said next time when I want to take time -off to run it by him which I said "Ok" to.He is very easy-going and mellow.I am so glad tommorow is Friday, I need to start packing Saturday or tommorow.I know for a fact CSI wo'nt be filming in Vegas next week so I am a little bummed but I will still have fun next week anyway.Have a good Friday everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Wednesday Thoughts

  Hi friends, hope you all are having a good Wednesday.I went to my old hometown for a while today to my old library and hung out for 2 hours .And then  I went to the Costco in San Bruno and they took the HD Reciever back with no problem, I was really relieved and happy. I had a feeling they would'nt give me any trouble there.In the next 2 weeks I'm going to call the guy from Comcast and have him hook up a DVR for me in my bedroom.I am getting really excited for Fall TV to start, wo'nt be long now.It was really hot here today, it's 93 degrees now, whew !!!!!!! I may hit a heatwave when I go to Vegas next week, tommorow is Thursday and CSI night as well, woo-hoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way on Labor Day starting at 9:00 a.m. on Spike TV for 5 hours there is a marathon of CSI -The 7'th Season.Hope you all have a great Thursday, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Happy Birthday Lisa - a J-land Angel !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  There is a beautiful person in J-land who has a birthday tommorow, Lisa who has the journal Do'nt Take Life For Granted.Lisa is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met-she has a heart of gold and is a true and wonderful friend to many.She had fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis but she still has a very postive outlook on life and is an inspiration to many.I love when she posts pictures of her adorable grandson Kayden who has beautiful blue eyes.Lisa is a great mom and grandma too and her journal is one of my favorites that I read.Lisa I hope you have a wonderful birthday tommorow, you deserve the best always !!!!!!!!! Stupid Parents Chap My Ass

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Tuesday, Emmi I hope you do'nt mind I borrowed your quote above,  I worked today and I read an article in my local paper today and a quote from a parent that made my blood boil.It was about the law to stop teen drivers from texting or using thier cell phones while driving.While most people were in agreement with the law one parent who was picking his teen daughter up from school who preferred not to be named thought the law was too harsh and said "Teenagers should be able to do what they want" Wow glad this man is'nt my father, What a clueless selfish ass !!!!!!!!!!!!! In other-wards go ahead and kill someone while you are texting or yakking on your cell phone while driving, it's ok.It's parents like that who should'nt be allowed to breed.His daughter will grow up with no rules or restrictions and probably wind up in jail or worse yet dead,  sad.Another thing that pissed me off yesterday was Michael Vicks quote to the media "I need to grow up" Uh what ??????????? There is a huge difference between being intentionally cruel to animals and doing something immature like toilet -papering a house or tree.Wow I hope he gets sent to jail for years for what he did, Anyhow that is my vent for today, tommorow I'm going to try to return the HD Reciever at another Costco, wish me luck, Another entry to follow in a bit, there is a very special J-lander who has a birthday tommorow, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

The Countdown Begins today ................

 Hi friends, hope you all had an ok Monday.For those of you who are CSI fans , today it will be one month until CSI starts again on CBS. OMG I am sooo excited !!!!!!! I have been waiting all summer long to see Sara get rescued from under the car in the desert.I'm hoping for a kiss between Grissom and Sara when she is in the hospital. I will for sure have a DVR  installed before September 27'th.That is a plan.I just hope Wednesday when I go to a different Costco they take back the HD Reciever without any trouble.I enjoyed a day off from work today, took a walk by the water for 45 minutes and went grocery shopping.I have to start packing sometime this week before Sunday, I am getting excited about my trip to Las Vegas next week. I am still trying to read online if CSI will be filming in Vegas next week anytime, that would be soooo exciting if they were, there is a good chance they may be since the first new show is a month from today, hope you all have a good Tuesday, back to work for me tommorow, Chrissie I hope you are feeling a little better,  I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Puppies For Sale

 A Store owner was tacking a sign above his door that read "Puppies For Sale" Signs like that have a way of attracting small children and sure enough, a little boy appeared under the store owner's sign."How much are you going to sell the puppies for?" he asked.The store owner replied " Anywhere from $30 to $50"

The little boy reached into his pocket and pulled out some change."I have $ 2.37" he said "Can I please look at them ?"

The store owner smiled and whistled and out of the kennel came Lady, who ran down the aisle of his store followed by five teeny, tiny balls of fur.One puppy was lagging considerably behind.Immediately the little boy singled out the lagging, limping puppy and said " What's wrong with that little dog?"

The store owner explained that the veterinarian had examined the little puppy and had discovered it did'nt have a hip socket .It would always limp.It would always be lame.The little boy became excited "This is the puppy I want to buy"
The store owner said "No you do'nt want to buy that little dog.If you really want him , I'll just give him to you.

The little boy got quite upset , he looked straight into the store owner's eyes, pointing his finger and said "I do'nt want you to give him to me.That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs and I'll pay full price.In fact I'll give you $ 2.37 now, and 50 cents a month until I have him paid for"

The store owner countered "You really do'nt want to buy this little dog.He is never going to be able to run and jump and play with you like the other puppies"

To this the little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg to reveal a badly twisted , crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace .He looked up at the store owner and softly replied "Well I do'nt run so well myself and the little puppy will need someone who understands"

Try Try Again

 Hi friends, thank you so much to Chrissie for the gorgeous Grissom and Sara picture above , I went to another street fair today in Palo Alto , did'nt really see that much, however there was a Comcast booth there and walked up to them and asked about renting a DVR.The man was very helpful and said it would be $ 7 a month to rent a DVR and installation would be $ 29, I took one of his business cards and I will be calling him before September 27'th.I told him about my HD Developer mishap and he told me to take it to another Costco and try to return it and say it did'nt work so that is what I will do Wednesday.Hope you all had a good weekend, next week at this time I will be in Vegas, thanks for all of your concern about my mosquito virus, I felt a little better today except for a slight headache.Have a good upcoming week everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

 Hi friends, hope you all had a good weekend so far.I read in the local newspaper Thursday night about 8:49 p.m. there was a sexual assault that happened a couple of blocks away from me.The police are looking for the suspect and they have a sketch to go by.I do'nt walk around much at night around here and usually every Thursday night around 8:49 my butt is parked in front of my TV waiting for CSI.I am exhausted from work today, we were really busy and short-staffed as well.I figured out why I have'nt felt very well this week, a few days ago a mosquito bit me and I read sometimes after a mosquito bite you can get a virus called West Nile Fever which can make you feel tired and run down and it does have flu-like syymptoms which last for like 2 weeks so there you go.I hope I feel better when I leave for Vegas on September 2'nd, I hope you all are having a great weekend, tommorow my weekend begins, yea !!!!!!!! Tiring Friday

 Hi friends, I just got home from a long day of work and I am  totally exhausted and feeling mentally drained.It was a slow day so I tried to clean up around my register and put some new stock out.My store already has 2008 calenders and I saw some I like including my yearly traditional calender The 365 day page a day cat calender that  I buy every year besides the CSI wall calender too.When it was almost towards the end of my shift Anthony asked me if I could open tommorow instead of coming in mid-shift. I sighed , no way did I feel like getting up at 7:00 tommorow morning.I compromised with him and said "Would 10 :30 be ok?" I just ca'nt resist him sometimes, he was  very grateful to me for helping him out tommorow , I snagged 14 emails for him today too so he was bragging to Cyndie about me, lol.I hope tonight I just some rest for tommorow, my energy has been down this week  and I have'nt really felt well..I sure hope Direct TV will let me get a DVR instead of the HD reciever.I need to call them Monday and find out what the deal is.I hope you all have a good and relaxing weekend, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

A Big "Thank You" and Thursday Frustrations

  Hi friends, I went to Costco this morning to try to return the Hd Reciever and they would'nt let me return it, Grrrrr I think it was because I opened it, But there was a number on the box that said if you needed to return the HD Reciever to call Direct TV because it was a Direct TV Hd Reciever.Sigh .............. I hope Direct TV can maybe do an exchange and let me get a DVR instead of the HD Reciever which is useless to me since I do'nt have a high definition TV ( I wish I did) All the better to enjoy CSI.I would like to say a huge " Thank You" to Leene and Lisa Jo for the awesome snail mail I got today.Leene thank you soooooooo much for the CSI novel , I love those books and I did'nt have that one ( I will enjoy reading it very much) Thank you Leene !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also Lisa Jo thank you so much for the picture of Jorja from TV Guide that my kitty sat on a few weeks ago and the maybelline coupons and the kitty food coupon,Thank you so much Lisa !!!!!!!!!!! I love getting snail mail and it made my day !!!!!!!!!!!

I went back to work feeling like a train wreck from the lack of sleep last night.I tossed and turned all night , it was very warm in my bedroom even though I had the sliding door open.Also there was a mosquito in my room buzzing in my ear all night, Towards the end of my shift today this older woman who turned out to be a huge pain in the ass was trying to return an item that was'nt ours and demanding her cash back and saying her daughter had purchased the item  from us she claimed.She thought it was one of our metal water containers that had been recalled a couple of months ago but this item clearly was 'nt metal.It was a glass straw holder and I knew it was'nt from our store.I called Anthony over and he told the woman that it was'nt from our store too.The woman proceeded to argue with him and I felt a need to defend Anthony, I told the old douchebag that in all the 7 years I worked I had never seen that strawholder and when Anthony flipped it upside down it had a bar code I could see was'nt ours.Anthony told her we could'nt take it back and she had a hissy fit and told him he would be hearing from her and she was disappointed in how he had handled the return.When she walked away I told him I was sorry and he did'nt deserve that" She left the strawholder behind and Anthony took it and put it in the office.I hope she does'nt call Corporate on him and try to get him in trouble.I would totally defend him if she did.Anyhow I am working again tommorow, 9 -5 , hopefully I will get some sleep tonight, Have a good Friday everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Thursday Thoughts

 Hi friends, I came home for a while to read your journals and relax before heading back to work in an hour.I only slept one hour last night so I feel like absolute crap but I did attend the meeting this morning for my sweet Anthony.He had coffee and doughnuts for us and he went over our new program called Bump Up The Basket where we try to encourage the customers to come back to our store through emails and credit card applications.He said our store was doing good saleswise , better then some other World Markets around so that is good.Probably his gorgeous eyes bring lots of customers back.Tonight is CSI night, I love the episode on CBS tonight, hope you all have a great Thursday, I'm going to try to return the HD thing soon to Costco, wish me luck, I Love You All Lisa XO

Wow am I an idiot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If any of you feel your walls shaking later or the ground starts moving underneath you do'nt be alarmed, it's just me screaming in frustration.The HD Reciever I bought earlier is useless to me because I do'nt have a high definition TV.I opened the box to read the instruction book and the more I read I discovered I bought the wrong thing today.I hope I can return it without a problem, I sealed the box back up with tape, I am so angry with myself right now, Grrrrrrrr............

Wednesday

 Hi friends , Hope you all had a good Wednesday.I was reading the box of my purchase and it is actually a HD reciever, is that the same thing as a DVR? I hope so, can you record off a HD reciever ? I hope I did'nt buy the wrong thing.I have a 7:30 a.m. meeting tommorow at work, ugh that will not be fun getting up at 6:00 a.m. tommorow but oh well.Seeing Anthony that early wo'nt be bad, I love the CSI that is on CBS tommorow night, it's Leaping Lizards, one of my favorites from this season, and there is an awesome Grissom and Sara moment in that episode for those of you who are new fans of C.S.I. , I hope you all have a good Thursday, it's almost Friday, yahoo !!!!!! I got a DVR today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Hi friends, well I did it today.I went shopping at Costco and I bought a DVR for $ 84.99.I am dizzy with happiness right now but there are some things I am wondering about.I will have to call Direct TV and ask them how much it would cost to come out here and install some wiring for the DVR. My cable service now is Comcast.Would it work without someone coming here already ? I noticed too that it is a HD DVR player so I'm wondering if I need a satiellite dish installed ?????? This is all new to me.I am nervous that I may be too dumb to use my DVR.Is it pretty easy to record shows off of the TV ? I am excited about the DVR but also scared about how to use it.Any tips from those of you that have DVR's would be much appreciated, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

My Tuesday

 Hi friends, thank you to Sugar for the cute graphic above.I worked today for a few hours.It was a very quiet day and I found it hard to stay awake.Anthony was'nt there today but he called and I answered the phone , it was funny I knew it was him before I answered the phone, sixth sense kicking in.I noticed that this man kept staring at me out in the food court today, he was making me nervous and I was glad when he walked off.I wo'nt be able to work out much this week because there was a notice tacked up saying that the fitness room here will be upgraded this week, oh well, I am off tommorow and Friday so I will just go for a walk by the water those two days.I will be working this Saturday which should be interesting, I have'nt worked a Saturday in 4 months.I must say the work environment is very pleasant now without Cheryl, that woman never did like me that much and many days that we worked together it was unconfortable.I hope that whoever Anthony hires to replace Cheryl is nice, I am not looking forward to my early morning meeting Thursday but since I have to work later that day I will make it through, hope you all have a great Wednesday tommorow, Can I ask you guys that have DVR players , how much does it cost around to have your cable company come and install one for you ???? Monday and CSI news

 Hi friends, hope you all had a ok day .When I was online this morning Lisa Jo sent me an email telling me my hubby William Petersen was on the cover of next week's TV Guide, it came in the mail today and sure enough there was a little pic of him looking hot on the cover and an awesome article inside on page 35 titled Can Grissom Save Sara ? The first new CSI looks like it is going to be amazing from what that TV Guide article said, I just hope by the time the first new CSI is on the 27'th of September I will have a DVR by then or I might  have to ask one of you to record Dead Doll for me on a blank disk because I might want to see that episode more then once.I know I will cry during that episode when Sara is rescued from under the car. Also this morning I read a promising article on one of Jorja's fansites saying that the new gal that will be on CSI Jessica Lucas will not be replacing Jorja, a big yea for that !!!!!!!!!!I will be back at work tommorow 12 -5 and then off Wednesday and then Thursday I have an early morning meeting at work at 7:30 a.m., blech on that but since I have to work that day anyway I'll make a stop at Starbucks.I noticed today down by the water my duck family has returned , I wonder where they were all summer, I missed them alot, hope you all have a good Tuesday, I did'nt sleep well last night so now I am feeling it, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Sunday is over

Hi friends, Thank you to Emmi for the beautiful angel tag above .Hope you all had a good Sunday.I cleaned up my place and gave my hair a much needed -dye job .I feel better about myself after I dye my hair.It always looks so shiny and pretty.I am getting excited about my Vegas trip in two weeks.I have never been there in September before but the weather should still be pretty good then.Please let CSI be filming there then when I am there.I just want to meet Jorja and Billy so bad.I want to give Jorja a hug and tell her how much she means to me and If I see Billy in person I would probably hyperventilate, he is so good-looking !!!!!!!!!! There are two J-landers who are very special to me in J-land who I love very much and  who have been in my thoughts today and I ask you all to send up a prayer for them both.First Lisa Jo who fell at work this week and is hurting today, please pray that she heals quickly and is'nt in too much pain.Lisa Jo please get better soon and go see a doctor if the pain persists, I am worried about you !!!!!!! Next Chrissie , she has been a little down lately and I miss her journal entries so much.Chrissie is a new CSI fan thanks to me and I am so impressed by her because she finds out CSI info before me and tells me about it and I'm like Whoa where did you see that ????? Please pray that Chrissie feels better soon , I love when she posts pictures of her adorable grandson Kyan in her journal who is one of the cutest kids ever on earth !!!!!!!!! Saturday Ramblings

 Hi friends, hope you all are having a good Saturday.I went out for a 45 minute walk today and I am trying to watch my eating, Emmi you are a great motivator for me.I was thinking of asking the friend who will be coming to feed Mr Diva when I am in Vegas if she would'nt mind feeding Grissom and Catherine for me when I am away.They are dependant on me now and I would'nt want them both to go hungry when I am away.It would'nt be fair to them.I am not sure what happened to Warrick, and Nick I just saw that one time.If another kitty comes and stays that one will be named Sara.I had a hard time sleeping last night because my stomach was hurting.I woke up this morning and it still hurt a little bit.I did get Burger King at lunch yesterday which probably was 'nt smart but from now on I wo'nt go there.Hope you all are having a great weekend, next Saturday I will be working. I did get my hours back this coming week which I am glad about.I Love You All Lisa XOXO

  Hi friends, hope you all had a good TGIF.I worked a long day today and it was return city in my store today.Poor Anthony was upset because this idiot bought $ 2000 dollars worth of our furniture and then came back and returned it 20 minutes later.This fool was like "Oh I have to put the furniture together myself?"Duh that is the way it works.Ugh anyhow my friend Lupe at work was sad because a friend of hers died of cancer.I saw she had been crying when she came in tonight.I hugged her and told her that she needed anything to let me know.I had to walk away then so she would'nt see my tears.I felt on the verge of tears all day today.Thank god it's the weekend.Hope you all have a good one, I need to get a new computer mouse this weekend, my mouse is ready to retire.  Hi friends, I am feeling a bit blue today.I thought this picture was funny of Jorja and Erik and you can see the necklace I sent her a little bit in the picture. Jorja looks like she would be so fun to know in real life.I hope I can snap out of this funk I am in soon, tommorow is Friday, thank God !!!!!!! Thankful Thursday and Things that annoyed me this week

  Hi friends, it's Thursday -woo-hoo !!!!!!!!!!!  Also CSI night on CBS as well.I am going to put a different twist on the Thankful Thursday entry and list 5 things that have annoyed me this week and 5 things I am thankful for.Here goes, I'll do my annoyed list first.

1) My mom, we have been fighting for two days.

2) Another thing that has annoyed me this week has been good old Aol.I got so many alerts for blank entries this week, so once again thanks Aol for your wonderful service as always.

3) Another thing that has annoyed me this week is believe it or not - Anthony because he only put me down to work one day this week, WTH ???????

4) Another annoying thing this week , when I saw the cover for the 7'th Season of CSI with just Billy Petersen and Marg Helgenberger on the front, I love both Billy and Marg very much, but I think the whole 5 members deserved to be on the front, George Eads, Gary Dourdan and Jorja Fox are all of what makes CSI such an amazing show.

5) My 5 'th annoying thing this week is I have been feeling a little down and I have'nt had the momentum to update my CSI journal.I am just praying that when the new Season of CSI starts Jorja will be back for the whole Season 8 and if anyone gets replaced on there , it will be Sophia, the blond police detective who is rumored to star on a new show in the Fall.

Ok here are my 5 Thankful Thursdays

1) I am thankful Mr Red is gone for the month and I feel a little better now.

2) I am thankful that I will be going back to Vegas in a few weeks.I love it there and it's my favorite place in the world.

3) I am thankful Debbi will be moving back here in a week or two.I really need a friend to hang out with and talk to.My social life is pretty quiet and I have'nt had much luck making friends around here, not to mention I live among neighbors who are unfriendly and non -sociable.

4) I am thankful I was able to work out 3 times so far this week.I felt a lot better then I have been lately.

5) Most of all I am thankful for all of you, you all give me the strength to keep going and inspire me so much.I wish all of you lived closer to me.Thanks for all of your support and friendship.You all mean the world to me,I mean that,  I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Happy as a clam :)

 Hi friends, hopefully the alerts are working again now.I am so happy right now, I wonder if clams really can be happy, because if they are then I am a happy clam, lol.I went to the fair earlier and this man was selling celebrity photos inside ofone of the buildings at the fair. I took a gamble and asked him if he had anyone from C.S.I. He said I have some Billy Petersen ( OMG !!!!!!!!!!) and some Marg Helgenberger  and then he paused for a moment and said "And some of Jorja Fox " OMG -Woo-hoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought 3 pictures of Jorja and 2 of Billy and a big one with Billy, Jorja and George Eads and Marg Helgenberger.Lisa Jo he did'nt have any of George Eads by himself, I asked him for you.I should have looked for George Clooney pictures for you, but I have the guy's email address if any of you are looking for a certain celebrity picture.I never dreamed at the fair one of the vendors would have such awesome celebrity pictures, have a good Thursday everyone, it's CSI night tommorow, woo-hoo, that episode on tommorow night on CBS is ok, it's Big Shots, but the one on next Thursday on CBS - Leaping Lizards has an awesome Grissom and Sara moment in it where she is at his apartment and she reads the letter he wrote to her when he went away on his sabbatical.I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Aol Pisses Me Off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Hi friends, I did an entry for yesterday but I'm going to assume none of you got the alerts because I had 0 comments which I thought was strange.Thanks Aol !!!!!!!!! I would like to thank Angie for the beautiful postcard I recieved in the mail yesterday, I love getting snail-mail , thanks for thinking of me Angie !!!!!!!!!!! I have gotten over being pissed off about the whole CSI cast not being on the cover of the Seventh Season but it is a shame they All could'nt be on the cover instead of just Billy and Marg.I am still without a doubt going to buy the 7'th Season of CSI when it is released November 20'th in stores.I am going to hope that there an audio commentary on the episodes Fallen Idols and Empty Eyes, those episodes were so amazing but pretty much every episode from Season 7 was really good , I did'nt care for the episodes with Keppler too much but oh well.I have worked out two days in a row so far this week , going to do it later for 45 minutes and then again tommorow.I am looking forward to my Vegas trip in September, any of you who would like a postcard, let me know ok ? Not In A Good Mood

  Hi friends, today is not a good day.My mom is here driving me nuts and my hormones are out of control in my body.I feel like crying.I keep hearing more and more rumors that Sara and Grissom's relationship is going to end when CSI starts in the fall and it depresses me so much.I love thier relationship on CSI and I do'nt want it to ever end.They are both so perfect as a couple and I love watching thier romance on CSI.This is seriously the longest summer of my life.My favorite character on CSI is crushed under a car in the desert and I still have no idea yet if she will be back for all of next Season but I pray that she will be.I ca'nt imagine CSI without Sara.I keep trying to find out more info .Sept 27'th seems so far off to me.I ask a favor of you all please, my good friend Phil's stepdad passed away this morning so if you all could go visit him and send a hug or a prayer I would really appreciate it.His journal is listed in the other journal's section in my sidebar titled It Is What It Is, thanks you guys, I might go work-out in a bit.Have a good Tuesday everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Sunday is over almost :(

 Hi friends, hope you all had a good Sunday.I talked on the phone to Emmi this morning who is such an awesome friend of mine I met online.Emmi I enjoyed talking to you on the phone so much today, we'll have to do it again sometime.I watched some of the CSI marathon tonight, this afternoon I went down to Burlingame to attend another street fair.It was fun but I did'nt buy anything, shocking I know, lol.I am not working much this week but I will devote alot of that time to working out since I have been slacking in that lately.Grissom and Catherine have been coming every night for food so I have been feeding them, I spied a new kitty this morning, a grey striped tabby, I will name him Nick if he becomes a regular, I have'nt seen Warrick the cat in a while, hope he is ok.Missie, Cindy, Chrissie and Donna there will be snail-mail on the way to you tommorow, have a good week everyone, one of my good friends online Phil who has the awesome online journal It Is What It Is stepdad has'nt been feeling well lately and his mom is really worried so if you all send up some prayers for them both I would appreciate it, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Quiet Saturday

 Hi friends, hope you all had a good Saturday.I still ca'nt get over Cheryl not being at my job anymore.I was thinking this morning about how once when we had a secret shopper in my store Cheryl had been really rude to the person and the person had stated in the bad report that got mailed to our store that Cheryl did'nt seem to care whether they found what they were looking for or not.Also the person had asked Cheryl a question about something and she had shrugged at them and walked away.I always wondered why Cheryl had picked to work in customer service because until she got in trouble for the low score on the secret shopper's report she was lousy with the customers.Anyhow Mr Red is visiting me now so I do'nt feel that well this weekend but Diane called me this morning and it was really great to hear from her. We got caught up and it was nice to hear from her.I love talking to online friends on the phone as well as on my computer.Emmi we so have to talk on the phone someday , Maybe tommorow I'll give you a call if that's ok.Tommorow starting at 2:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. there is a CSI marathon on Spike TV for those of you who are new CSI watchers or fans of the show like me, lol.Hope you all have a relaxing Sunday, In a month from now I will be back in Las Vegas again, I am getting excited and yesterday at work I filled out the request for the week off in September.Hopefully CSI will be filming there that week in Vegas so I can meet the cast and especially Jorja and Billy, I hope so bad they are , Donna and Emmi  and Chrissie I hope you all are feeling better, Love You All Lisa XOXO

So Long Cheryl

  Hi friends, so happy it's Friday.I went into work today to startling news.Cheryl ( my least favorite co-worker/Assistant Manager is no longer working at my store.I am not sure what happened exactly.She was very moody,her moods changed like day and night. Maybe she and a customer had it out.Anthony was quiet and Kafi said he did'nt want to talk about it and I did'nt really want to ask him too much about it.Besides it's none of my business anyhow, but now there will be a new asst manager hired to take Cheryl's place.She was there quite a while, about 4 long years and yes she did piss me off quite a few times, being rude  or snippy to me or messing up my vacation pay every time I went away.So I feel a little relieved she is no longer there.But at the same time I wonder who will replace Cheryl.Hopefully nobody worse then her, lol.I am off this weekend again, yea, hope you all have a good one.I am tired from today, it was a very busy day in my store, lots of furniture sales and I got 20 emails for Anthony to smile about,  Emmi I hope you feel better soon, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Thankful Thursday

 Hi friends, hope you all are enjoying your Thursday.My sweet online friend Gretchen started posting Thankful Thursdays in her journal and then Chrissie started doing it too, I always thought it was a cool idea, here are my 5 things I am thankful for today

1) That I have a private journal so no mean trolls like Johnjjschmidt come and leave me nasty comments.It would be kind of fun to tell a troll off though.Probably be satisfying, lol.

2) That the headache I had for two days in a row went away

3) That the three homeless kittys, Grissom, Catherine and Warrick are getting food now.

4) That it is CSI night tonight on CBS and one of my favorite episodes is on Fallen Idols.

5) But most of all I am thankful for all of you in J-Land who read my journal.Thanks for all of your friendship and continued support, I do'nt know what I would do without all of you !!!!!! I Love You All So Much Lisa XOXO

Chocolate chunk cookies and CSI- Could life be any sweeter ?

 Hi friends, hope you all are having a good Wednesday.So how many of you are cookie lovers like me?????? Lol, found one of my favorite cookie recipes to share and tommorow night at 9:00 p.m. on CBS is the CSI Fallen Idols, That episode is one of my favorites and the ending is very Grissom and Sara and sweet !!!!!!!!!! So watch CSI tommorow and bake yourselves these amazing cookies before you watch the show, Love You All Lisa XOXO

Chocolate Chocolate Chunk Cookies

2 ounces of semi sweet chips
3 Tbsps of unsalted butter
1 tsp of expresso powder
1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 of baking powder
1 cup pecans
1/4 cup of cocoa powder

Preheat oven to 350 F, melt 8 ounces of the chocolate chips with the butter and expresso powder, if using a heat proof bowl , set over a saucepan of about 1 1/2 inches of nearly simmering water whisking until smooth, remove the bowl from the heat.

Beat the sugar, eggs, and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed in a large bowl until smooth and well-blended.Whisk in the chocolate mixture.Sift the flour,baking powder, and salt over the mixture and whisk until well-blended.Stir in the remaining chocolate chips, the nuts and cocoa powder.

Drop the batter using 1/4 cup for each cookie, about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet, placing 8 cookies on the first sheet and 7 on the second one.Bake one sheet at a time for about 10 to 12 minutes.

Cool the cookies on the cookie sheet for about 10 minutes.

 

Tiring Tuesday

   Hi friends, I just got home from work.I am dead -tired.I had the worst time sleeping last night so I was dragging around today with a headache .It was a very quiet day at work too so it seemed to just go on forever.I am off work again until Friday.Diane said she might call tommorow night or Thursday so that will be nice.Hope you all have a good Wednesday , tommorow I'll be posting a recipe for chocolate chunk cookies, they are delicious !!!!!!!! Diane is'nt mad at me after all

 Lisa Jo that picture is for you because I know Poppy Montgomery is your favorite actress and the look on her face matches my mood perfectly right now.I called Diane up just to leave her a message and she answered and we talked for a hour like old times.She is'nt mad at me like I thought, she has just been really busy which I should have known.Anyhow things are good between us and we are friends, I was relieved to hear she was ok because she lives in MN where the bridge collasped last week, I'm so happy right now, I Love You All and thanks for all your support, Lisa XOXO

Sunday Entry

  Hi friends, I wo'nt be here later so this is my entry for today.My brother called my uncle Mark up this morning and told him what is going on so now at least he knows.I thought maybe, although it seemed like a long shot but since my dad came close to dying a few months ago that near death experience might make him a little more human but I should have known better.Sometimes I wonder despite all the abuse in my family , mostly on my dad's side of the family how I turned out to be a good person, I could have gone the other way and become a mean spiteful bitch who hates the world but that was'nt God's plan for me.I must say though there are some of you who have also gone to hell and back in life but despite that you have grown to become some of the most amazing people I have ever met and I admire you guys very much.My new water pills my doctor prescribed last week for me are'nt working out too well, they make my stomach hurt and zap my energy making me very tired.I'm going to tell my doctor this week they are'nt working out.It is cold and overcast here today, I hope the sun comes out later.Last night when I went out on my balcony Catherine was down below in the grass looking for food so I threw some fish and cat kibbles down to her.She is a little less afraid now, she is a pretty cat, white with a few patches.I hope you all have a good Sunday, I'll be meeting my uncle around 4:00 p.m. at Outback, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Excuse me son while I stab you in the back

Hi friends, thanks to Missie for the tag above,  my stomach is churning with nausea as I write this.I found out last night my sneaky no good loser of a father and that heartless greedy witch he remarried are now in charge of my brother's college money and are not planning on giving him all of it for school.My Uncle Mark gave my brother that money for school, I really wish he had'nt given it to my dad and the witch to keep for my brother, that was not a wise move.What makes it even worse is that my dad and the witch are loaded with cash, they do'nt need anymore.They could live well the rest of thier lives but they are both greedy and always looking out for themselves but always willing to stab someone in the back and now that someone is my brother.I have warned him about them, I know too well what they are both all about, I do'nt know how they can sleep at night, and yet tommorow they will both go to church and redeem themselves and make everyone there believe what wonderful people they both are.I have a feeling tommorow I should tell my Uncle Mark what is going on , he has a right to know, wow one thing I knew I could always count on was my dad stabbing me in the back growing up, I am so thankful he is out of my life, why should I have to live up to expectations that I will never meet ? Why should I be made to feel like shit every day and be whispered about and taunted? I do'nt need that shit in my life, I hate how mean -sprited my dad is and I know his new wife is just as bad.She is all for spending money that is'nt hers, I am so glad I have great friends in my life because as far as some family goes they make me sick !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Friday- Yea

 Hi friends, hope you all are having a good Friday.I worked 9 - 5 today and it was'nt quite as slow of a day as yesterday was so that was good.I kept looking in the Food Court in case Bikini Lady decided to come back , but she did'nt .Maybe she found a nice beach , lol.Anthony was there which I was glad about, when I was in the office for a minute we locked eyes and I got butterflies in my tummy and I almost had to look away, it was like an explosion of intensity,  ca'nt explain it, chemistry thing, lol.He is so good looking, I got 15 customers to sign up for our emails today and 12 yesterday so he was pretty happy about that.He calls me "The Email champ" lol.This Sunday I'm taking my uncle to dinner at Outback, that should be nice, I still have to get him the $ 25 gift card from Barnes and Nobles's tommorow, I hope you all have a great weekend, I'm off work this weekend, yahoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's Ms Bikini to you

  Hi friends, Thanks to Missie for the beautiful tag above, hope you all had a good Thursday.I worked a long day today 9 - 5 .It was really slow in our store today too but Anthony was there to keep my awake with his beautiful gold eyes.When I was at my register I saw this lady walking by in the Food Court wearing a very skimpy black bikini which had her whole back exposed and  pretty much all  of her front and stomach were exposed.No freaking way , I thought, she had a black hat on too, I noticed two Mall Security 's eyeing her as she walked by and then they followed her, yup they had seen her too.Wow I ca'nt believe some people,I do not make this stuff up people, there are some real whack jobs who hang out at my store or in the mall, Ms Bikini looked like she had made a wrong turn before going to the beach, I was going to say to her if she came in my store "You look lost" being the little smart ass I am,Later me and one of the Mall Security were talking and he said that she had gotten thrown out of the mall for indecent exposure but she had come back again, wow,  anyhow that was my day.Tonight is CSI night, woo-hoo, that one on tonight Toe Tags is ok,  but I really like the CSI that is on next Thursday at 9:00 p.m. on CBS. called Fallen Idols, Grissom the cat was here tonight hungry so I poured him some wet food and some kibbles and put some fresh water down for him, I have'nt seen Catherine or Warrick around in 2 days, hope they are ok, tommorow is Friday-Yea !!!!!!!!! Hope you all have a great one,  I am going to take my Uncle out this Saturday to Outback Steakhouse for his birthday, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Thank You Everyone

 Hi friends, thank you so much for all your supportive comments, they meant alot to me and I cried seeing how much you all care.I just have to let Diane go and move on. I was'nt in the best mood at work today, this customer really pissed me off because she was looking for 10 silver forks and we had 2, and so I asked her what the next closest World Market to her was and she said the SF store, so I called the SF store and they had about 20, so I had a employee there hold 8 forks for the lady, so then when I went to tell her she asked if I could call the Redwood City store for her, WTH ? She had told me the SF one was the closest to her and they were already holding the forks for her under my name, sheesh, that's the thanks I got, I sighed and walked away, when I called the Redwood City store I got disconnected 3 times and I was getting pissed, finally a young kid answered and offered the hold the forks for her, I felt like shoving a fork up her ass after all that , I would have told her that one was free of charge , lol and did she thank me by the way ? Of course not, just another fun day in retail paradise.I noticed last night when I fed Grissom some fish he must have told his friends about me being his food owner because now there is a white cat with blue eyes I named Catherine and a pretty, pretty fluffy black and white cat I named Warrick, so I guess I have 3 foster cats, lol.It's cool , they can all share food.Tommorow night's CSI  on CBS is Toe Tags, where the dead people were talking to each other in the morgue, I did'nt really care much for that CSI, and usually I love every show but next Thursday's episode is Fallen Idols which is an awesome episode about a teacher who had an affair with a student and there is an awesome Grissom and Sara moment at the end, the infamous shaving scene, for those of you who are new CSI watchers and are interested in Grissom and Sara's romance I highly reccomend next Thursday's CSI on CBS following Big Brother .Hope you all have a great Thursday and thanks for being there for me, I Love You All Lots Lisa XOXO

Grieving The Loss of a Friend

 Hi friends, I can confirm officially that my friendship with Diane is over.I am just so hurt and I feel so betrayed by her.Her timing was really lousy and now I am questioning myself over and over what I could have done for this to happen. It would have less painful if we had fought and exchanged  ugly words.I did'nt need this crap to happen and now I am feeling like the biggest loser on earth. I did alot for her as a friend and losing a friend without any explanation just sucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I a bad person ? I do'nt think so, but bad things always seem to find me .My heart is sad and I feel stupid that I did'nt see that Diane maybe never cared about me as a person.I hope maybe when Debbi moves back here she will ease some of the pain inside of me from Diane's betrayal.I never expected this to happen , but I guess I just have to accept the circumstances and move on and suck it up and go to work today and pretend all is well with the world.Wish you all lived closer, I could use some hugs, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
