Hi friends , Hope you all had a good Wednesday.I was reading the box of my purchase and it is actually a HD reciever, is that the same thing as a DVR? I hope so, can you record off a HD reciever ? I hope I did'nt buy the wrong thing.I have a 7:30 a.m. meeting tommorow at work, ugh that will not be fun getting up at 6:00 a.m. tommorow but oh well.Seeing Anthony that early wo'nt be bad, I love the CSI that is on CBS tommorow night, it's Leaping Lizards, one of my favorites from this season, and there is an awesome Grissom and Sara moment in that episode for those of you who are new fans of C.S.I. , I hope you all have a good Thursday, it's almost Friday, yahoo !!!!!! HD means high definition and you must have an HDtv to be able to use it properly.

No that has nothing to do with the DVR only if you have HDtv and are watching a HD show. Everything is headed that way in the next two years, but just has to do with picture quality and sound quality as far as I know about it.
You got the right thing.. now just call the cable company.

Hope it works, still may have been cheaper through Comcast.
