Hi friends, I was pissed beyond words today when I went into work to pick up my paycheck.Next week when I was supposed to go to Vegas the week before Easter that the beast was rubbing in known also as Blackout Period, I am working 4 days, however I noticed Lydia got next week off, uh what the hell ??????? I get denied for my week off but yet Lydia gets next week off to go to Texas , how is that fair ?????? The beast was telling me some bullshit two weeks ago about how everyone would be working next week and how nobody else would get time off, what a load of crap, I am so mad right now, excuse me while I stick my head in the refridgerator and scream !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess the beast is playing favorites or some crap like that.

Sorry you are so upset Lisa. Sometimes things aren't fair. Maybe it is important for your co worker to go to Texas and maybe they asked for the time off before you did. Anyway, have a happy weekend sweetie! : ) Luv ya!

that woman sounds like a horror to work for...i hope that if you choose to look for a new job you find something that you enjoy and enjoy the people you work with as well

Get a new job girl start putting in apps somewhere else.

I would be mad too; that is not fair. everyone should be treated the same; if no one else is allowed time off during this week why should this other person get the week off?
I am so frustrated with my job too so I know how you are feeling.

So sorry and don't blame you one bit for being mad, pissed off, and ready to hurt someone! I agree with Ellen it is time to look else where you are a good worker from what I can tell and am sure a valueble employee so think it is time to move on. You might want in that nice syrupy voice ask the Beast why that is someone is getting off when you could not?

Look for other work even online. Confront her. Don't act like you're scared of her. YOu do have power to stand up for yourself. Please leave this job. Life is too short to spend any time being miserable. THE BEAST will probably be fired soon. Hope, hope, hope.

retail is vicious, they only care about money and the bottom line....i know this because i have lived the hell of it for 13 yrs. I cover my ass, work hard and go home and stay the hell out of the way of everyone else. This manager is wicked.....i wish you'd think seriously of getting a new job.
