I really should be in bed now, but who cares, lol. Hi friends, anyone notice what a pain in the butt Aohell is being today ? Angie I know you noticed, lol.Well the flu finally hit me and I feel as if I've been hit by a truck, my whole body aches, my head is pounding, I am chilling and I have no appetite.My stomach is not happy.I guess it's only fair get a turn having the flu, it hit almost everyone in J-land.I hope I am feeling better tommorow since I am working 9 - 5, that is a long shift and even longer if you are'nt feeling well.I know if I wake up feeling bad again tommorow I'm calling in sick , remember a few weeks I felt sick at work and Melissa forced me to stay the whole day ? Hi friends, OMG I had the worst time sleeping last night and my eyes are feeling the pain today.I tried to sleep in a little today since I did'nt start work until 11:00 a.m., The Beast was opening today but Robin, Andrew and Bret were all there so my day was pretty - much beast -free.I took Debbi's advice and was civil to the Beast and she was civil back so I guess until I leave that is the way to go.I have'nt heard anything from Torrid but it is still pretty early too.Cyndie called today and I answered and she was like "Oh are you feeling better?" I was like "Uh yeah thinking I was before you called "She was like "Oh I'm so glad you are feeling better" Gag me with a spoon, what a phony, deep down I know she could care less if I was sick or not.She was such a bitch to me when I first started working at World Market and I will never forget that.I am working again tommorow and Wednesday and Thursday, I was hoping for a beast -free week but Melissa is opening all this week, well at least the worst day of the week Monday is behind me now, yea !!!!!!!! Hi friends, Today was so crappy I do'nt even know where to begin, but when I had trouble getting out of bed this morning and getting myself out the door I should have known better.I woke up with a stomach ache - a combination of Mr Red coming and nerves too.The Beast was there of course, I wanted to confront her about why she gave Lydia this week off but I froze up and could'nt do it.I started feeling nauseous at my register and told the beast I was'nt feeling well.Well guess what ???????? She forced me to stay anyway for the whole day, what a damned heartless bitch !!!!!! If that's not a good reason to quit I do'nt know what is, she let Crystal go home last week when she felt sick and Kristina the week before, I think now that Steph quit , I am her new target to bully.The day got worse as it went along, this old grouch came to my register and was extremely rude to me about a soda that was'nt ringing up right.I had to have Dave come over and adjust the price on the drink and the old guy goes "He knows more then you do" What a rude old goat, I could'nt wait to get him moving on, this other older lady I got got all pissy because the customer before her was loading up her stuff for too long and started whining to me she was in a hurry, sighing I paged Robin for a Service 20, Boy was I glad to leave today, I even picked up a job application for another store, I think it's time to leave World Market, I am not about to become The Beast's new person to bully, hope you all have a good Tuesday, I'm off tommorow so I know I will, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Hi friends, I was pissed beyond words today when I went into work to pick up my paycheck.Next week when I was supposed to go to Vegas the week before Easter that the beast was rubbing in known also as Blackout Period, I am working 4 days, however I noticed Lydia got next week off, uh what the hell ??????? I get denied for my week off but yet Lydia gets next week off to go to Texas , how is that fair ?????? The beast was telling me some bullshit two weeks ago about how everyone would be working next week and how nobody else would get time off, what a load of crap, I am so mad right now, excuse me while I stick my head in the refridgerator and scream !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess the beast is playing favorites or some crap like that.
Hi friends, I'm still here, thank you Lisa Jo for emailing me and asking if everything was ok, I love you so much for caring, I just have'nt felt much like journaling lately.My life is pretty boring and I'm not happy about my work situation right now.Part of me wants to say "Screw it" and go to Vegas anyway next week but I know for a fact my ass would be fired for defying the Beast but I am very disappointed I ca'nt go to Vegas, I was really looking forward to going.I have been feeling really drained lately, I come home exhausted and depressed from having such a bad manager.I have always known a good manager makes all the difference at work and now I am seeing how lousy it is to have a bad manager, I dread going into work on days I know she will be there, I see how none of my co -workers like her and it makes me so sad.How did this happen at my store which has always had such a great reputation for good customer service ? Hi friends, hope you all are having a good Sunday, that kitty's face says it all about my early meeting this morning, I tried to get some rest last night in my nice new bed but I think the anxiety over the meeting disturbed my sleep, I ended up sleeping one hour and then begrudingly had to drag my ass up at 6:00 a.m. for the meeting, everyone was there looking sleepy, the meeting was mainly about upcoming changes at our store and customer service, I felt like busting up laughing when the beast was talking about customer service because she is pretty damn clueless in that department, but since the district manager Cyndie was there too she had to put on a big show in front of her, what B.S., I had to struggle not to fall alsleep during the meeting, it was sooooooooo boring, I'll be heading back to work in a few hours since I'm closing tonight, I hope I do'nt miss Cold Case on at 9:00 p.m. tonight on CBS, Have a good upcoming week everyone and do'nt worry Spring is on the way, I am so ready, Lisa Jo and Angie, I'm sending sunny vibes your ways to melt all that snow, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, hope you all had a good Saturday, I bought a new bed yesterday with my tax refund so the guys delivered it this morning, My old bed was so pathetic, the matresses were like 20 years old, stained and faded, in other- words they were both shot to hell. My co-worker Kristina who was ringing in front today was sick at work from her night of drinking the night before, I gotta give the girl credit for going into work, if I was sick to my stomach I would'nt even consider going into work, she looked terrible and really pale, I made her promise me if she started feeling too badly to tell Robin , Kristina ended up going home at 11:00 a.m. and I took over the front of the store, Tommorow I am working again and Thursday too, hopefully one of those days the beast will be off, I am really getting tired of her b.s. and her stupid - ass rules.There is this meeting we are having at work this coming Sunday at 7:45 in the morning, I do'nt even feel like going frankly.The last thing I want to see bright and early on a Sunday morning is the beast.Angie I hope you will be back online tommorow, I am missing you big -time, come back please !!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi friends, hope you all had a good day, the beast was her old beastly self to me today at work, she made a big fuss about me bringing an iced tea to my register today saying from now on no drinks would be allowed at the registers except for water, what a bunch of bullshit !!!!!!!!!! I calmly told her the tea was for my headache and she just gave me a blank stare.The day was pretty uneventful, the beast was in the office hiding most of the day so that was good at least, hope you all have a good Tuesday, I feel a little better then I did yesterday, I did buy some Vitamin B- 1 today to take everyday because I read in a magazine mosquitos will find you unappealing if you take vitamin B-1 so that is what I am going to do, hope it is safe to take one everyday, anybody know about that??????I'm getting up to watch Cold Case tonight at 3:00 a.m., I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Call me crazy, lol but tonight at 3:00 a.m. in the morning on TNT will be the pilot episode of Cold Case called Look Again, when I watched it the first time back during the summer I was impressed and in love with a new show, so even though the time is not the greatest tonight and I am working tommorow I'm getting up to watch it tonight, I love this show, it's devotion I'm telling you, I would'nt get up late to watch many shows, but this one is always worth watching, I highly reccomend that those of you who have never seen this show give it a try, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
Hi friends, I guess with you of you that have been sick in J-land it was bound to hit me sooner or later.I got bit by a mosquito last weekend and have been feeling sick ever since.I did some research online and I found out that I have West Nile Fever which is a mild virus that some people get after being bitten by a mosquito, it is alot like the flu, body aches, fatigue, headache, and when I read last night the fatigue can last up to 36 days I was'nt too happy about that.I felt ok yesterday but today I had to lay down awhile because my head was killing me and my legs are aching a little now, some days are better then others, I never thought in February, almost March there would be mosquitos around , but I guess with all the rain this winter , it would make sense.I have had this virus before and it sucks !!!!! Some days it totally knocked me on my ass, so I urge you all when you go out on hot days to wear mosquito repellent or or citrus lotion and long sleeves, trust me you do'nt want this virus, I will do my best to comment in journals and visit you all , but I am hoping that I start feeling better soon, I never thought I would be looking forward to March ending, but now I guess I am, I hate mosquitos so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
