Next to last entry

 Hi friends , hope you all had a good Friday.I worked today and it was super busy.I was busy all 8 hours I was there.I found a new CSI promo online yesterday, Oh man I am going to be such a wreck on Sept 27'th watching Sara getting rescued, I wish I could have one of you come over and hold me during and after the show,I am going to be a crying, weeping,  mess,  here is the link if any of you want to watch the promo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvaNAIBuYfU I want to thank Angie for the letter I recieved in the mail today, I love getting snail-mail, thank you so much Angie for taking the time to write to me , I owe you a letter, there was this lady in my store who was so rude to me today, she needed help over in the collectables section and instead of asking me she was waving over at me, annoyed I came over and she wanted these two fung shui keychains that were on this hook, she told me she could'nt get them off the hook, so I picked up some items she had dropped on the floor really quickly first and she goes "Are you going to help me or am I going to have to get these off here myself" Wow what a rude bitch, I took the items off the hook and handed them both to her and threw the empty hook back down and went back to my register to ring the people up that were standing there, I think when I am in Vegas next week there will be a heatwave during my visit, Jackie I will getting a taste of the heat next week, Monday is supposed to be 107 degrees, whew !!!!!!!!!! I am sad CSI wo'nt be filming there next week, sigh ............ I have always hoped they would be there once when I was there, hope you all have a great weekend, there is a great CSI episode on Sunday night at 5:00 p.m. on Spike TV called Gumdrops.For those of you who have never seen CSI, this episode is one of the best ones I have ever seen  , it stays with you after you watch it and you can never forget it, and the message in the episode is very you Jackie , there is an adorable little girl who is missing  and she leaves pieces of her gum behind as clues where she has been and Nick never gives up hope that she is alive, no matter what.She narrates the episode and when you see the photos of her in her house all you think is that you hope sheis found. By the way too the producers trick you at the end so do'nt start crying too hard , you'll see what I mean,the ending is very sweet and always makes me cry. I love how Nick never gives up hope finding her.Chrissie I will be so curious to hear what you think of this episode after you see it, maybe if you could just write me a brief paragraph telling me your thoughts about it after you see it, I'll be curious, lol. Donna I think you would enjoy this episode too and you too Cindy, lol.I wo'nt turn off my alerts next week so please keep continuing to write and I'll be back next weekend to answer your emails and comment in your journals.I'll write a final entry tommorow before I leave Sunday, I Love You All So Much Lisa XOXO

Thank God Tommorow Is Friday

  Hi friends, hope you all had a good Thursday.It's still hot here , 77 degrees out now , Jackie, Angie and Lisa there will be snail-mail being sent out for you all tommorow, Jackie your letter is rather thick because there were some Grey's Anatomy's articles I put in for you so I need to have them weigh it at the post office, I worked today 9 - 5 , it was a pretty boring day to say the least, I bought Anthony an iced tea at lunch and he was happy, I told him I was'nt going to be at work next week this morning because he had asked me this morning why I needed next week off and I told him.He said next time when I want to take time -off to run it by him which I said "Ok" to.He is very easy-going and mellow.I am so glad tommorow is Friday, I need to start packing Saturday or tommorow.I know for a fact CSI wo'nt be filming in Vegas next week so I am a little bummed but I will still have fun next week anyway.Have a good Friday everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Wednesday Thoughts

  Hi friends, hope you all are having a good Wednesday.I went to my old hometown for a while today to my old library and hung out for 2 hours .And then  I went to the Costco in San Bruno and they took the HD Reciever back with no problem, I was really relieved and happy. I had a feeling they would'nt give me any trouble there.In the next 2 weeks I'm going to call the guy from Comcast and have him hook up a DVR for me in my bedroom.I am getting really excited for Fall TV to start, wo'nt be long now.It was really hot here today, it's 93 degrees now, whew !!!!!!! I may hit a heatwave when I go to Vegas next week, tommorow is Thursday and CSI night as well, woo-hoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way on Labor Day starting at 9:00 a.m. on Spike TV for 5 hours there is a marathon of CSI -The 7'th Season.Hope you all have a great Thursday, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Happy Birthday Lisa - a J-land Angel !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  There is a beautiful person in J-land who has a birthday tommorow, Lisa who has the journal Do'nt Take Life For Granted.Lisa is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met-she has a heart of gold and is a true and wonderful friend to many.She had fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis but she still has a very postive outlook on life and is an inspiration to many.I love when she posts pictures of her adorable grandson Kayden who has beautiful blue eyes.Lisa is a great mom and grandma too and her journal is one of my favorites that I read.Lisa I hope you have a wonderful birthday tommorow, you deserve the best always !!!!!!!!! Stupid Parents Chap My Ass

Hi friends, hope you all had a good Tuesday, Emmi I hope you do'nt mind I borrowed your quote above,  I worked today and I read an article in my local paper today and a quote from a parent that made my blood boil.It was about the law to stop teen drivers from texting or using thier cell phones while driving.While most people were in agreement with the law one parent who was picking his teen daughter up from school who preferred not to be named thought the law was too harsh and said "Teenagers should be able to do what they want" Wow glad this man is'nt my father, What a clueless selfish ass !!!!!!!!!!!!! In other-wards go ahead and kill someone while you are texting or yakking on your cell phone while driving, it's ok.It's parents like that who should'nt be allowed to breed.His daughter will grow up with no rules or restrictions and probably wind up in jail or worse yet dead,  sad.Another thing that pissed me off yesterday was Michael Vicks quote to the media "I need to grow up" Uh what ??????????? There is a huge difference between being intentionally cruel to animals and doing something immature like toilet -papering a house or tree.Wow I hope he gets sent to jail for years for what he did, Anyhow that is my vent for today, tommorow I'm going to try to return the HD Reciever at another Costco, wish me luck, Another entry to follow in a bit, there is a very special J-lander who has a birthday tommorow, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

The Countdown Begins today ................

 Hi friends, hope you all had an ok Monday.For those of you who are CSI fans , today it will be one month until CSI starts again on CBS. OMG I am sooo excited !!!!!!! I have been waiting all summer long to see Sara get rescued from under the car in the desert.I'm hoping for a kiss between Grissom and Sara when she is in the hospital. I will for sure have a DVR  installed before September 27'th.That is a plan.I just hope Wednesday when I go to a different Costco they take back the HD Reciever without any trouble.I enjoyed a day off from work today, took a walk by the water for 45 minutes and went grocery shopping.I have to start packing sometime this week before Sunday, I am getting excited about my trip to Las Vegas next week. I am still trying to read online if CSI will be filming in Vegas next week anytime, that would be soooo exciting if they were, there is a good chance they may be since the first new show is a month from today, hope you all have a good Tuesday, back to work for me tommorow, Chrissie I hope you are feeling a little better,  I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Puppies For Sale

 A Store owner was tacking a sign above his door that read "Puppies For Sale" Signs like that have a way of attracting small children and sure enough, a little boy appeared under the store owner's sign."How much are you going to sell the puppies for?" he asked.The store owner replied " Anywhere from $30 to $50"

The little boy reached into his pocket and pulled out some change."I have $ 2.37" he said "Can I please look at them ?"

The store owner smiled and whistled and out of the kennel came Lady, who ran down the aisle of his store followed by five teeny, tiny balls of fur.One puppy was lagging considerably behind.Immediately the little boy singled out the lagging, limping puppy and said " What's wrong with that little dog?"

The store owner explained that the veterinarian had examined the little puppy and had discovered it did'nt have a hip socket .It would always limp.It would always be lame.The little boy became excited "This is the puppy I want to buy"
The store owner said "No you do'nt want to buy that little dog.If you really want him , I'll just give him to you.

The little boy got quite upset , he looked straight into the store owner's eyes, pointing his finger and said "I do'nt want you to give him to me.That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs and I'll pay full price.In fact I'll give you $ 2.37 now, and 50 cents a month until I have him paid for"

The store owner countered "You really do'nt want to buy this little dog.He is never going to be able to run and jump and play with you like the other puppies"

To this the little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg to reveal a badly twisted , crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace .He looked up at the store owner and softly replied "Well I do'nt run so well myself and the little puppy will need someone who understands"
