Happy Halloween

Hi friends, thank you to Missie for the awesome tag above.That earthquake last night brought back bad memories from the 1989 quake that was a 7.2, the biggest one I have ever felt.That was a very scary day and one I will never forget. I was off work today and I went to the exercise room for a while, after my workout I noticed a honeybee on it's back in the swimming pool fighting for it's life.I took my keys and flipped it out of the pool so I did my good deed for the day.Hopefully the little bee lived.I hope you all are having a fun Halloween, I know all of you with little kids or grandkids had fun taking them out for treats, I loved Halloween as a kid.It is still one of my favorites as far as holidays, all fun and no hype , I hope you all have a great Halloween night , tommorow is Thursday, CSI night.I thought the crossover episode was tommorow night for some reason but tommorow is a Halloween themed CSI- should be interesting for sure.Have a good one everyone, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Nothing like an earthquake to rattle your nerves

Hi friends, I was trying to relax in the bath tonight when an 5.6 earthquake happened and scared the hell out of me. It was centered in Alum Rock , near San Jose.The tub was shaking and all the stuff on the edges of my tub was falling in the water, I'm ok, there is no damage, but my nerves are a little shaken, Mr Diva is a little scared, made sure I gave him a couple of cat treats to calm him down, Hopefully there wo'nt be any more earthquakes tonight, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Happy Halloween All

Hi guys, hope you all had a good day before Halloween.I worked today and the first sight to greet me when I walked was Cyndie with her big tummy hanging out of the bottom of her shirt.There was also a man from Corporate there too Colin.I wonder what Colin thinks of how Cyndie dresses, guess she just thinks she is bad ass or something.When I walked by Cyndie I did'nt bother wasting a "Hello" to her, I just gave her a polite nod and went to punch in.She did'nt stay too long which in my book is always a good thing, she will be busy tommorow night flying on her broom in the skies, I'm bad I know ;) This lady and I got to talking at my register today and she told me that in her opinion the people of San Mateo were "The rudest of the Bay Area" Wow I am not alone in my thoughts then, she did'nt even live around here either but she said it was an observation , she said "People do'nt feel obligated to be nice" Yup that is pretty much the truth, it's really sad these days people have to be so damn rude , my heart goes out to anybody who works retail or works at a busy store during the holidays, it is truly a nightmare, bears are so lucky, they can hibernate through the winter.I wish I could transform myself into a bear for the whole month of December.That is my unmost favorite time of the year working, the real ugliness comes out in some people I see in my store and it's very unsettling.Anyhow hope you all have a Happy and safe Halloween tommorow night, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Trying to get out of my funk

 Hi friends, thank you to Missie for the oh so -cute tag above .I was feeling tired and sluggish today from Mr Red.I did errands and later went to work out for 40 minutes.I am trying to get out of the funky mood I have been in lately.Work can be a good distraction sometimes , but I do need more in my life.Being alone really sucks and I think going back to school would be good for me.I want to move from here in June and start fresh in a new town .I really do'nt like it here, I have never felt at home here and in almost three years time it's doubtful I ever will.I ca'nt believe Halloween is this Wednesday, I am off work too, working tommorow though, Robin wanted me to come in at 10:00 a.m. , should 'nt be too busy.We are sold out of most of the candy already, Costco or any big chain store probably still has lots left.It is dark already at 7:30 p.m. daylight savings time drives me nuts.I hope you all have a good Tuesday, I Love You All Lisa XOXO, By the way did all of you that I sent the World Market coupons to recieve them ? Not much to say

  Hi friends, this is my second attempt writing this entry.I was feeling a little sad today , it is starting to sink in that Jorja will be leaving the show next month and it sucks.I am so afraid that once she leaves CSI she will disappear from TV forever and that makes me so sad.I may not want to watch CSI after she leaves because I am afraid the show may become stupid, I mean I am not liking those articles about a so-called new love interest for Grissom after Sara leaves.It does'nt sound very Grissom -like to me for him to quickly move on to someone else right after Sara leaves, I mean he did state in Living Doll that Sara was the only person he ever loved so seriously WTH ? I just think once Jorja leaves I wo'nt like the direction the show will go in, Just my thoughts, I know some of you may think I am being ridiculous about this but picture your favorite person leaving a show you loved to watch and how you would feel.I told you guys way back in September if Jorja left I would be sad and it was true.Ok enough CSI bitching.I did errands today and now it looks like it wants to rain out, Chrissie thank you for posting the daylight savings time entry this morning, I swear I thought it was this weekend, but wow it is late this year being next weekend.Halloween is this coming Wednesday and I am off work for the first time in years, maybe having Greg around wo'nt be so bad, he seems like an ok guy so far.Cindy you have been in my thoughts all day, hugs to you.Angie I am glad you are home safe from your trip, I missed you.Missie you are in my thoughts too,  I hope you all have a good upcoming week, I Love You All Lisa XOXO

Saturday Thoughts

  Hi friends, hope you all had a good Saturday.I worked for a few hours today.Greg was there and he helped me do a online return .I never realized what a pain in the neck it was to do an online return in our store.Thank God I do'nt get them very often.The store was pretty busy today and the 6 hours I was there flew by fast.I ca'nt believe Halloween is this coming Wednesday, OMG it came fast.I thought for sure I would be working that day but I'm not.I am off for the next two days , yea !!!!! My new glasses are ready so I have to pick them up tommorow, also sometime next month I have to take Mr Diva to the vets in Pacifica for some shots.He seems healthy though being an indoor cat but sometimes shots are still neccesary anyway.Let me know you guys like the candy bar cookies that make them.I have'nt tried them yet but I am sure they are delicious.Have a good Sunday everyone,I ca'nt believe October is almost over, it went by so fast ,  I Love You All Lisa XOXO

The Return of Mr Red

 Hi friends, I was'nt going to do another entry, but what the hell ? I went shopping earlier and suddenly was doubled over with killer cramps.I have'nt had a period in two months and then boom it came today, sorry to my male readers if that is TMI.Anyhow I came home, slept for a while and feel a little better now , just really tired.I have noticed lately in the mornings it is really dark , daylight savings time will soon be here.I do'nt like when it gets dark earlier , it affects my moods.Maybe I should talk to my doctor about that next time I see her.It happens every year like clockwork right after Halloween .Work should be interesting tommorow, hopefully I will get to know Greg a little better, he seems alright, I do'nt know him too well yet, I am still a little depressed about Jorja leaving CSI in November, it makes it even worse then her leaving is timed around November sweeps , usually during Christmas season when the shows take a month long break it drives me nuts, but this time it wo'nt even faze me,  but I think after Jorja leaves CSI I wo'nt watch it anymore except reruns.It would be too sad for me to watch the show without her.Lately I have been getting into Cold Case and I'm sorry I did'nt start watching it before.It's a really good show.I hope you all have a good and relaxing weekend, Cindy you are in my thoughts, I Love You All Lisa XOXO
